Plot
Bojji is a powerless prince who can't even handle a toy sword since he is deaf. He dreams of becoming the greatest king in the world because he is the firstborn, but many people whisper behind his back that he is useless and will never be a king. Bojji then befriends Kage, a shadow that seems to understand him perfectly. Kage is the last surviving member of a clan of assassins that was nearly wiped out. He is no longer an assassin and now makes a career by stealing. As a result, the story follows Bojji's development as he meets new people throughout his life, beginning with his fateful encounter with the shadow.Characters
The two main charaters are: * Bojji: being deaf, our protagonist is unable to express himself through words, but despite this he still manages to be one of the most expressive and memorable characters of recent years in the world of anime. The little prince is presented as a character with no personality, defenseless (since he can't hear what others are saying about him) and also not too intelligent (at least this is the first feeling we have about him). The episodes pass inexorably with the viewer's feeling that Bojji has no hope of becoming King, leaving him with a bitter taste in his mouth and an enormous sadness towards him (since I think only a sociopath cannot feel at least a little empathy towards him). The only thing for which our "hero" manages to stand out is his innate ability to dodge blows, probably due to his "handicap" that has sharpened his other senses. But Bojji never gives up, despite the fact that everyone tries to discourage him, in one way or another, to give up following his dream, he in his normality (which makes him even more adorable) does not listen to reason and continues on his way.

- Kage: he is introduced in the story as a thief, so a character who initially seems "hostile", but in fact already during the first episode shows interest in our protagonist and is perhaps the only one who can really understand him. Kage is also a child, and this is also one of the reasons why a deep bond is established between the two of them almost immediately. But despite this, the fact that the shadow is able to understand Bojji remains something mysterious. Kage's presence is crucial in Bojji's growth, as he is always there to support him and urge him not to give up when things go wrong.

Pros
* The story of the protagonist makes us feel a lot of empathy towards him, we feel involved in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions since the first episode. The main character is a "very normal" person, and because of that, you can identify with him perfectly. Usually, in anime the protagonists are almost always predestined with some special ability that makes them unique and that they must somehow unlock. Bojji is obviously special in his own way, since he's the heir to the throne, so in some way he's predestined from birth, but other than that, he doesn't have any traits that make him unique or special compared to others, on the contrary, he's far too normal to be someone destined to become King. Suffice it to say that his brother, younger than him, is much stronger physically and looks much more like his father (who is considered the strongest man in the world), thus making Bojji the classic underdog who does not have the means (and perhaps will never have them) to be able to subvert the predictions.

- The series features many characters with their various stories and they are all beautifully characterized, giving an overall feeling of total cohesion, where none of them seem to be out of place.

- Despite the fact that the main nature of the anime is very fairytale-like, throughout the story we discover many different facets, with some very violent moments that make it complete in all respects. The story is very deep and complicated, despite the basic atmosphere being that of a children's fairy tale.

- In its simplicity (both in terms of plot and design) this anime finds all its magic. You don't always need to complicate things to have a quality and successful product, here we're faced with the exaltation of this concept.
Cons
If I had to try to find a fault with this anime (and it's not easy at all), I could criticize the twist that the story takes towards the end, although this remains my personal opinion, since the story probably continues in the most reasonable way possible, but this perhaps makes it a little less original than it could have been.
Another very slight criticism I can make is in the relationship between the two main characters. Kage doesn't have a goal of his own, other than to help his friend become king, making their relationship a bit one-sided, with one helping the other grow but seeming to get nothing out of it in terms of personal growth.

Conclusion
