Hola mis queridos amigos de HIVE, feliz sábado para todos, espero estén disfrutando de su fin de semana; no había tenido la oportunidad de ver la película “Geo-Tormenta”, a pesar de que ya tiene un poco más de cinco años de su estreno, que la han dado de numerosos canales de TV, no le había dedicado el tiempo para verla, sentía que era más de lo mismo, de las muchas donde ocurren desastres naturales y luego todo se resuelve de la nada; pero la vi anoche y me gusto, mas que todo por el enfoque que le dieron en mostrarnos como fenómenos naturales, pueden ser contenidos y manipulados por el hombre, un gran poder y responsabilidad quizás en manos equivocada, el hombre es mucho más peligroso que la naturaleza misma.
De qué trata la película y mi Opinión sobre ella
Primeramente debo resaltar que he visto varias películas con Gerard Butler y han sido excelente producciones, y que este Eugenio Derbez, mas llamo mi atención, así haya sido en un papel secundario, pero estaba la presencia latina en la película; he visto ciertas criticas donde alegan que esta producción fue un fracaso en taquilla, que no gusto, pero duplico en ganancias su presupuesto, y también va en como cada persona la vea.
Nos cuentan como en el año 2019 fenómenos naturales azotaron al planeta, huracanes, sequías, tormentas, clima extremo, entre otros, ocasionando destrucción, tragedias y muertes a gran escala, es cuando los alto mando de todos las Naciones, decidieron unir fuerza y de esa manera enfrentar juntos todo lo que está pasando, y gracias a grandes científicos, construyendo una red de satélites para controlar los eventos climimaticos, cada país tenía su propio satélite que monitoreaba lo que sucedía en dicho país y controlaba cualquier fenómeno natural que se pudiera desatar, a esta proyecto lo llamaron “El Niño Holandés”.
La naturaleza es poderosa y majestuosa, es cierto que cuando se manifieste con fenómenos climatológicos, deja destrozos a su paso, daños irreparables pero es algo que ocurre de manera espontánea se podría decir, y también gracias a la mano del hombre por tanto daños ocasionado al planeta, el ejemplo más claro y dañino “la contaminación”, que provoca diversas repercusiones hacia nosotros mismos; pero que pasaría si el hombre tiene la posibilidad de contener y controlar el poder absoluto de la naturaleza y usarlo para su propio beneficio.
En la película vemos esto, como hay personas que hacen una buena acción, dándole la oportunidad a la humanidad de seguir viviendo, pero hay quienes ven que pueden sacar provecho de lo que tienen en las palmas de sus manos, y como todo arman estrategias para dejar fuera a quienes si tienen corazón noble y no pueden ser corrompidos, y corromper al que usa la ambición como cualidad principal.
Al final el bien vence, pero es porque es una película, y tiene que dejar un buen mensaje, que a pesar de la ambición del hombre por el poder, querer moldear al mundo para su beneficio propio, sin importar a cuantas miles de personas tenga que sacrificar, sus planes se ven frustrados por personas que aún tienen valores humanos; y está bien que acabe así una película; porque es el fin propósito, que sea una producción que además de entretenernos, nos brinde la oportunidad de reflexionar y mejorar como ser humano para darle a nuestro mundo el valor que merece y un mejor nuevo amanecer a las siguientes generaciones.
Pero también algo que me inquieta es el hecho, de ver reflejado en esta película, la conspiración de alto mandos políticos, como por su ambición no les importa la vida de los demás, que tienen en sus manos el poder para destruir el mundo, y es algo que no está lejos de la realidad, con la cantidad de armamento nuclear que esta preparado y listo para destruir al mundo que conocemos con solo presionar un botón y son ellos quienes tienen el poder de hacerlo.
Tienen todo este poder nuclear en las palmas sus manos, además grandes cantidades de otro tipo armamentos, que hoy en día gracias a la tecnología son más mortales y armas que están siendo usadas, causando tantos estragos y destrucción en distintas ciudades y países a nivel mundial, el caso más conocido actualmente es la guerra entre "Ucrania y Rusia", mucha destrucción y muertes de inocentes solo por ambición a poder, también vi que Estado Unidos ataco nuevamente a Siria, ahora imagínense si llegara el día que tuvieran la manera de controlar el gran poder de la naturaleza como vemos en esta película, que no harían, que no destruirían para llenar ese ego de superioridad y control.
Muchos dicen el mundo va cambiando a medida que pasan los años, pero no es el mundo, somos nosotros y hacemos que el mundo cambie a nuestra voluntad, por eso con películas podemos ver que puede pasar más adelante, porque de cierta manera es un pequeño vistazo a un futuro lejano o no tan lejano, pero un gran vistazo de lo que muchas personas son realmente.

What the film is about and my opinion of it
First of all I must point out that I have seen several movies with Gerard Butler and they have been excellent productions, and that this Eugenio Derbez, caught my attention, even if it was in a supporting role, but there was a Latino presence in the movie; I have seen certain reviews where they claim that this production was a box office failure, that it was not liked, but it doubled its budget in profits, and it also depends on how each person sees it.
They tell us how in the year 2019 natural phenomena hit the planet, hurricanes, droughts, storms, extreme weather, among others, causing destruction, tragedies and deaths on a large scale, is when the high command of all nations, decided to join forces and thus face together everything that is happening, and thanks to great scientists, building a network of satellites to control weather events, each country had its own satellite that monitored what was happening in that country and controlled any natural phenomenon that could be unleashed, this project was called "The Dutch Child".
Nature is powerful and majestic, it is true that when it manifests itself with climatological phenomena, it leaves destruction in its path, irreparable damage, but it is something that happens spontaneously one could say, and also thanks to the hand of man for so much damage caused to the planet, the clearest and most damaging example "pollution", which causes various repercussions to ourselves; but what would happen if man has the ability to contain and control the absolute power of nature and use it for their own benefit.
In the film we see this, as there are people who do a good deed, giving humanity the opportunity to continue living, but there are those who see that they can take advantage of what they have in the palms of their hands, and as all put together strategies to leave out those who have a noble heart and can not be corrupted, and corrupt the one who uses ambition as the main quality.
In the end, good wins, but it is because it is a movie, and it has to leave a good message, that despite man's ambition for power, wanting to shape the world for his own benefit, no matter how many thousands of people he has to sacrifice, his plans are frustrated by people who still have human values; And it is good that a movie ends this way; because it is the purpose of a production that besides entertaining us, gives us the opportunity to reflect and improve as human beings to give our world the value it deserves and a better dawn for the next generations.
But also something that disturbs me is the fact, to see reflected in this film, the conspiracy of high political leaders, as for their ambition they do not care about the lives of others, who have in their hands the power to destroy the world, and it is something that is not far from reality, with the amount of nuclear weapons that are prepared and ready to destroy the world we know with the push of a button and they are the ones who have the power to do it.
They have all this nuclear power in the palms of their hands, plus large amounts of other weapons, which today thanks to technology are more deadly and weapons that are being used, causing so much havoc and destruction in different cities and countries worldwide, the best known case today is the war between "Ukraine and Russia", I also saw that the United States attacked again Syria, now imagine if the day came that they had the way to control the great power of nature as we see in this movie, what they would not do, what they would not destroy to fill that ego of superiority and control.
Many say the world is changing as the years go by, but it's not the world, it's us and we make the world change at our will, that's why with movies we can see what can happen later, because in a way it's a small glimpse of a distant or not so distant future, but a great glimpse of what many people really are.
