As a huge fan of beautiful Nigerian movies, the movie seven doors is a very interesting movie that show broken promise and compromise in family and Life journey itself.Seven Doors is a story about a man who happily lives in Lagos with his wife and kids until he was called by the family to be crowned as the appointed king by the oracle oracle is an ancestral way of seeking answers to questions traditionally. If only he had knew, he would have refused bluntly, not taking up the position to be crowned as king as implored by his darling wife. An opinion the wife also eventually regret insisting for her husband to take.
Not long after his coronation, his family was the first target to be eliminated, from the first child dieing, and the king instructed to take on 6 other wives if his life will actually be at peace and save his home. A family that was supposed to be a nuclear family ended up been a polygamous family and not even that it became a polygamous home alone but because the problems the kings family still keeps showing up as his second child and the heir to the throne was at the edge of losing his life as well and must be saved before crossing the last line to death.
What could actually be the solution to the problem on ground kept the king going until he had the knowledge that the oracle actually lured him to the throne so that he could atone for the sins of his great grandfather. Dieing could simply means the end of the road so he would rather walk of the palace naked in the sight of all palace workers, chiefs, dignitaries and citizens until the wife came in to intervene. How depressing it was.
Seven doors is a movie that keeps your toes standing in reflecting on how far you could possibly suffer for what you've not done or even know how it came about to be done. Like you're even unaware of the time the offense was committed and you're actually meant to pay for those sins just because you came from the bloodline.
If he's going to make it out alive depends on courageous he is, and on his fate. Will he actually fight the war successfully as he's not battling with just a mere man like him but against ancestral deities? And is that really the final solution to his problems? Is it a crime to decide to serve your fatherland and why must an offspring suffer for the sins of their forefathers? Those are the questions that answers can only be gotten from the movie.
It's a production well recognized and got several awards by the casts and crews which showed that they really did a lot in the movie. The graphics were dope, scenes were so real that it gets you so emotional to tears if you're not so strong in holding back. The plot of the movie was not lost at any point and all cast and crew did a very well excellent job.
