El domingo pasado fue el día de las madres y para terminar ese día de celebración y en compañía de mi esposo disfrute una película que me gustó mucho y que era ideal para la ocasión, se llama Amor de Madre y la puedes encontrar en la plataforma Netflix, esta es una película española, del género comedia, pero también es algo de sentimental, dirigida por Paco Caballero y protagonizada por Carmen Machi, Quim Gutiérrez, Justina Bustos y Yolanda Ramos.

Last Sunday was Mother’s Day and to end that day of celebration and in the company of my husband I enjoyed a movie that I really liked and that was ideal for the occasion, it is called Amor de Madre and you can find it on the Netflix platform, this is a Spanish film, of the comedy genre, but it is also something of sentimental, directed by Paco Caballero and starring Carmen Machi, Quim Gutiérrez, Justina Bustos and Yolanda Ramos.

Trama

José Luis (Quim Gutiérrez), es un joven que ha sido plantado en el altar, después de haber pagado el solo la boda, celebración y luna de miel. Ya con la celebración no podía hacer nada pero en compañía de su madre Mari Carmen (Carmen Machi) visita la agencia de viajes para ver si es posible que le regresen el dinero ya que él no piensa ir, algo que no logra conseguir. Su madre quien es una mujer muy especial, lo convence de ir juntos a su luna de miel en Isla Mauricio con todo los gastos pagos, una oportunidad imposible de desaprovechar y más cuando ella no pudo tener una luna de miel.

José Luis quien lo único que siente es dolor, quiere en este viaje beber y sufrir, en cambio Mari Carmen desea disfrutar todo lo que no ha podido hacerlo en muchos años a demás de lograr que su hijo pueda sobrepasar su despecho. Para no hacer spoiler no les contaré las aventuras de estos dos personajes pero se que se van a divertir.

Plot

José Luis (Quim Gutiérrez), is a young man who has been jilted at the altar, after having paid for the wedding, celebration and honeymoon by himself. Already with the celebration could not do anything but in the company of his mother Mari Carmen (Carmen Machi) visits the travel agency to see if it is possible to return the money as he does not plan to go, something that fails. His mother, who is a very special woman, convinces him to go together on their honeymoon in Mauritius with all expenses paid, an opportunity impossible to miss, especially when she could not have a honeymoon.

José Luis, who only feels pain, wants to drink and suffer on this trip, while Mari Carmen wants to enjoy everything she hasn’t been able to do in many years, in addition to getting her son to overcome his spite. To avoid spoilers I will not tell you the adventures of these two characters but I know you will have fun.

Opinión

Una película muy encantadora, con paisajes espectaculares por donde lo quieras ver. Con una temática que en cierto grado es verdad, crecemos y se nos olvida que nuestra mamá es una persona también, que tuvo una vida antes de tenernos, que tiene virtudes y habilidades que nosotros como hijos no podemos o no queremos ver, que sufre pero no lo quiere contar y que por sobre todo nos conoce más que nadie. En la película veremos reflejado todas estas situaciones y como los personajes se reencuentran sentimentalmente.

Durante toda la película José Luis pasará por muchas circunstancias que lo harán internalizar y analizar su relación con las mujeres de su vida, Es una película que volvería a ver muchas veces, porque tiene infinidad de cosas que analizar, cada escena te deja pensando en la realidad de una madre, por momentos me daba tristeza ver a Mari Carmen como se sentía, pero a la vez ella quería pasarla bien y no había nada que la detuviera y así son las madres.

Después de ver esta producción y reflexionar sobre la relación que muchos tenemos con nuestra querida madre, pensé hasta en mí como mamá, ¿estaré criando bien a mis hijos? ¿Crecerán siendo unas personas autosuficientes que no necesiten de otras personas para ser felices?. Mucho se dice que los hijos varones buscan en las mujeres la más parecida a mamá, si mamá es sobreprotectora y no deja que su hijo haga nada, hasta escoger la ropa que se pone, entonces, ellos buscarán una mujer que haga todo eso por ellos? No necesitan una esposa sino una mamá!

Opinion

A very charming movie, with spectacular scenery wherever you want to see it. With a theme that to a certain degree is true, we grow up and we forget that our mother is a person too, that she had a life before having us, that she has virtues and abilities that we as children cannot or do not want to see, that she suffers but does not want to tell and that above all she knows us more than anyone else. In the film we will see reflected all these situations and how the characters are sentimentally reunited.

Throughout the film José Luis will go through many circumstances that will make him internalize and analyze his relationship with the women in his life. It is a film that I would watch again many times, because it has countless things to analyze, each scene leaves you thinking about the reality of a mother, at times it made me sad to see Mari Carmen how she felt, but at the same time she wanted to have a good time and there was nothing to stop her and that’s how mothers are.

After watching this production and reflecting on the relationship that many of us have with our beloved mother, I even thought about myself as a mother, am I raising my children well? Will they grow up to be self-sufficient people who don’t need other people to be happy? It is often said that boys look for the most mom-like woman, if mom is overprotective and does not let her son do anything, even choose the clothes he wears, then they will look for a woman who will do all that for them? They don’t need a wife, they need a mom!
