While in Orlando for MegaCon a little over a week ago, I hopped into a Lyft and shot over to Disney Springs to catch Solo....by myself...like usual.

It was my first time using my brand spankin new MoviePass card which worked flawlessly. I highly recommend signing up for it if you frequent the theaters.

It was opening night and the AMC had a cool spotlight of the films title that I decided to strike a pose for.

As for the film??? I enjoyed it! I am a Star Wars fan and being disappointed in The Last Jedi, I was slightly concerned about Solo: A Star Wars Story. To my delight it was fun and enjoyable. I loved how they fleshed out the backstory of Han & Chewie. We got to see that bond form right before our eyes. I fully recommend checking it out if you have not already. Ignore the disappointing box office numbers and go see Solo!!!

I ended up waiting until after MegaCon was over and saw it on Monday. It was the first Star Wars movie I haven't seen opening night since the original trilogy. I enjoyed it too and while the box office number may be lower than previous releases, the doom and gloom has been greatly exaggerated. I mean it has made $312 million worldwide so far. I would hardly consider that a "bomb" as some headlines have stated.

I really enjoyed solo too. The box office on the thing is so low. Seems like fanboys not giving the movie a chance. I am hoping things turn around with BluRay/internet release cause the sequel totally needs to be made.

Dude, thats exactly how I felt man. I was so nervous for it, but it way surpassed expectations, and I like it much more than anything that has come out recently in the Star Wars universe. I liked it more than Infinity War or Deadpool 2 as well
