Fatal affair is about a married woman had to deal with the after effect of being caught in the moment with an unstable man. This is a movie directed by Peter Sullivan and starred actors like, Nia Long, Omar Epps, K J Smith, Stephen Bishop amongst others.

Ellie Warren is a lawyer, a wife and a mother who has been married for 20years. At first you think she has a perfect life....with a good husband and a lovely daughter but apparently, the spark in her marriage was dwindling. Just like a perfect timing, David came into the picture...her college mate back in school. Unknowing to her, David had a hidden motive...and she was going to fall right at it, maybe almost.

This storyline is a very relatable one, you see people have issues in marriage due to a very small mistake caused by being caught in the moment with another man....just because you let your guard down or because you wanted to have a feel of what it is like to feel 20 again. But we forget most of of the times that "the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know".

That was one message I like about the movie, that I feel we need to be reminded of always. Not like I blame her, maybe I would have done the same I don't know...but I also commend the fact that she was strong enough to stop herself before it became worse not everyone can do that. The movie was able to give us a glimpse into David's obsession mode, even though I felt it was too shallow and predictable. I felt they could have explored more.

The only good thing about the whole thing was Nia Long acting, she did great but the movie just did not pay off for me. No plot twist, no juicy puzzles or thrilling feelings, not so much of an entertainment. It fell short of my expectations, I guess its one of those movies you just see and forget quickly.

So if you are looking to see this movie, you might be disappointed but then you may actually find it worth the watch...our opinions differ. Let me know what you think about the movie if you have seen it or if you see it sometime.
