Review of the Marvel movie "Black Panther" without spoilers.

Black Panther (2018) is a story belonging to the Marvel film universe, it is the first episode dedicated to the legend of a new superhero of the Avengers clan, it is the creation of the director Ryan Coogler known for work in the film Creed pertaining to the legendary Rocky saga.
It is the story of T'challa (Chadwick Boseman) after the events in Captain America - Civil War where after the death of his father inherits the throne of Wakanda at an early age, he will soon realize that it is not an easy task, there will be They will want to take away their position and try to expose the technological resources and treasures that Wakanda has hidden for thousands of years, a fictional nation of the Marvel universe hidden in the African continent.

The director highlights the African culture its codes of honor and respect, Wakanda being the most advanced city in the world technologically maintains the ancient customs of the African continent, showing several of its tribes, customs and some rather curious rituals. All their inventions are impressive, their typical costumes work as armor, their jewelry works like weapons and primitives like spears are more powerful than any conventional weapon.

The secondary characters have important participations, not only the protagonist develops the most important scenes, his whole team does it equally, so we find one of those films where the supporting actors steal the attention and the hearts of the spectators, such like the Minions in Despicable Me. The enemies are also very well achieved the performances are phenomenal, the first (Andy Serkis) is crazy, reckless and fun, in a concept similar to The Joker in terms of his sense of humor. The second (Michael B. Jordan) makes us understand his rebellion and the strong reasons he has to get Wakanda out of anonymity, no doubt the performance of this young man is very prominent.

It projects a very serious tone respecting the plot, contrary to what we have seen in the last installments of Marvel that are presented with an important humorous charge, this time the episodes of humor are scarce the story takes itself seriously, to his characters and everything that happens inside her. The events are described peacefully since its genesis, as the origin of Wakanda, its social system, royalty and the technological contributions it can offer to humanity, everything is so attractively described that we can dream of the idea that it is real.
The production design is successful, mix elements of science fiction with the Traditional culture of Africa in a creative way, shown naturally as if it had actually been a consequence of the technological evolution of a primitive people who decides to remain attached to their customs, aesthetically is captivating by the landscapes of the African savannah showing large animals in freedom. Percussion music has as much energy as its drums, it is a very important factor to give realism to the rituals of this culture.

The film touches sensitive issues such as segregation, xenophobia, isolation and indifference of large governments with respect to small nations. The participation of women is important, outstanding and at the same level as men at all times, the strength they demonstrate is inspiring for all the female gender since without being super heroines they have great relevance in the events and in the resolution of conflicts . The action scenes but with excessive special effects that go against any law of physics, typical of superhero movies are very well-founded, that is, the battles have an appropriate context for their origin.
The costumes are very striking is the deep research conducted on African tribes, is colorful, modern and functional, the predominant colors are black and purple that are also present in the black Panther suit is also in other details such as the scenography and beautiful purple color sunsets typical of the Wakanda landscape, which give a colorful photograph and contrast to the warm colors of the African savannah.

The story is made to be the basis of other films from the Marvel universe, there is the importance of seeing it because although this time the link with other stories of superheroes is minimal in the future it promises to be much more, these revelations are made in post-credit scenes, so you have to be patient and see the credits until the end. This film has a very strong identity, it is novel, creative, with a special and unique essence. It is a visual and emotional spectacle, I highly recommend it.
