And as the years passed, and I listened to them and got to know them, I realized that they mastered and performed several genres, and that's why, 60-plus years later, they're still making headlines. Simply a true phenomenon.
"All My Loving" fills me with joy and enthusiasm every time I hear it, because it has a very upbeat rhythm and very emotional, hopeful lyrics. It's so pleasant for me to listen to these kinds of songs, which, when you hear them, inspire and motivate you to appreciate the beautiful things in life.
This song, according to the story, never reached number 1 on the Billboard charts in the United States. I read somewhere that the highest they ever reached on that chart was number 45, nothing comparable to some of their other songs. However, they always performed it at concerts and live shows, which means they held it in high regard and very much in their hearts. It was also the song they performed on the Ed Sullivan Show upon their arrival in North America in 1964.
As I mentioned in the previous review, which was also about The Beatles and also discusses a song included on the album "With The Beatles," "All My Loving" belongs to that second album recorded in 1963. I'd like to tell you that this song was composed by the fantastic duo of Lennon and McCartney, and features Paul on lead vocals, as well as playing his trusty bass. John and George provide backing vocals and play rhythm and lead guitar respectively, and Ringo, who never fails, is there on his virtuoso drums, always keeping the beat. Of course, it was phenomenally produced by George Martin and recorded in mid-July 1963. I particularly recommend listening to it enthusiastically, as it has a great vibe and won't disappoint.
