For a crime detective, every case is a challenge that can mark the destiny of his career, and Baxter (Rami Malek), a young detective on the rise, knows it. Despite being a detective with great intuition, he had never faced a serial killer. Deacon (Denzel Washington) is a sheriff of a county several miles from the city of Los Angeles. In the last six months, there have been a series of murders with characteristics so particular that they indicate a serial killer. It is consistent with several unsolved murders that Deacon investigated when he was a detective in Los Angeles.

For some people, it may be predictable. However, in this film, you must pay close attention to "the little details" and the obsession it generates in the protagonists to find the serial killer, which justifies any action to achieve it.
Closing a police case is the desire of every crime detective, but some things take time, and others are better left behind and continue.
La mayoría de las películas del género policíaco pueden resumir su trama a cosas básicas como perseguir pistas y finalmente hallar al asesino. Son películas que siguen un patrón. Para algunos puede resultar predecible, sin embargo en este film debes prestar mucha atención a "los pequeños detalles" y a la obsesión que genera en los protagonistas para encontrar al asesino serial, la cual justifica cualquier acción con tal de lograrlo.
Cerrar un caso policíaco es el anhelo de todo detective de crímenes pero hay cosas que llevan su tiempo y hay otras que mejor hay que dejarlas atrás y seguir.
It is not a film with a great script, but the story is made well. Beyond the participation of two good actors like Denzel Washington and Rami Malek, Leto's performance stands out a lot, making his character despicable. This performance earned Leto two nominations for Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
If you have not yet seen "The Little Things", I assure you that this film will take you back to the '90s as it has all the characteristics of the "cult films" of the era.
Esta no es una película de un gran guión pero la historia está bien contada. Más allá de la participación de dos buenos actores como Denzel Washington y Rami Malek, la interpretación de Leto destaca mucho, haciendo despreciable a su personaje. Esta actuación le valió a Leto nominaciones como Mejor actor de Reparto en en los Globos de Oro y los Premios del Sindicato de Actores.
Si aún no has visto "The Little Things" te aseguro que este film te devolverá a los años ´90 ya que tiene todas las carácterísticas de las "películas de culto" de la época.
