Synopsis
Welcome to the incredible world of Resident Evil, where we return once again to "Raccon City" with our beloved characters Leon, Chris and company for a new and terrifying installment of this fabulous story focused on terrifying creatures called "Zombies". I should point out that, this movie series is based on the games bearing the same name Resident Evil, which are some pretty incredible games. This story is mainly focused on the Redfil brothers and Leon, which are the main characters and the most remembered, also we start with the Redfil's childhood in an orphanage of a company called Umbrella Corporation, which focuses on chemical experimentation and cases with altered humans, In this orphanage the children are adopted and each one takes different paths in life, Chris becomes a policeman and his sister Claire escapes from this house to find another life, years later this young girl returns to her home and certain events develop where humans are transformed into Zombies and they must survive this outbreak from a virus... Will these siblings manage to survive and escape safely from Raccon City?
Opinion
Being this one of several films I've already seen Resident Evil, compared to the previous ones this is one of my favorites, as the scenarios closely resemble those seen in video games, Zombies, are tough and quite scary, with well developed and structured characters, in turn the confrontations between the characters and these creatures are very well, being in quite dark and thematic areas that make you immerse yourself much more in this film, the soundtracks and effects for me are excellent, because they are very attached to the sequence and the story arc.
Realism: Obviously, we are dealing with a sci-fi film in which many or all aspects are imaginary, but being a fan of Zombie movies and video games, we have that this is very attached to what would be an outbreak of them in the real world, inanimate bodies with blood and no conscience with a fierce hunger to devour humans, however, I must say that it looks a lot like what we could find in the games initially, all this before they put the zombies relatively weak and became more of a Shooter. Finally, this movie maintains that terror and a bit of realism of what a zombie apocalypse could be.
Weapons: It is characteristic to have an arsenal of weapons to survive, without being anything exaggerated, these are just enough and necessary for the confrontations between the living and the undead, although I also expected melee elements such as bats, sticks, axes etc, firearms were quite subtle without being excessive to give enough excitement to the theme, making the zombies also have enough resistance and give it a little more prolongation.
Soundtrack: For this kind of horror and drama movies, a good soundtrack with deep and smooth sound effects, in my opinion is essential, this is the case of Resident Evil, with pretty cool and deep scenarios and a soundtrack created perfectly for this one, with a pretty unique music style.
Scenarios
I always have a favorite section to write about, as every movie and/or series is different in many ways, the settings are a fundamental part of it and in Raccon City, the settings and structures are perfect for imbuing terror into the characters and viewers, totally great for the story and plot of the story.
With dark and terrifying orphanages, large, cramped houses attacked by the cold, dark blanket of night, along with a rather macabre structure, the settings of "Resident Evil Welcome to Raccon City" are incredibly gripping to the viewer and so well formed as to give them an occasional screamer to the heart of the people.
Zombies
In every Zombie movie, the first thing I look at is how they are, by this I mean their capabilities, aesthetics and weirdness, in this installment these are totally cool, resistant and strong to the level they should be, without being killing machines like in World War Z, these can gain in strength, but not exaggeratedly to the characters, resist shots in areas that are not lethal to them and with a wide desire for human flesh.
While I speak generally, for anyone who has seen any Resident Evil movie in the past, you will know that these are not limited to the simple humans we normally see, as the virus even evolves into much more grotesque and powerful forms of flesh, even transforming dogs and other life forms into perfect killing machines, totally mind-blowing.
Battles
Another feature that I must highlight and that is very well done to have a touch of reality and also give more depth and suspense to the plot are the "Battles" that, without a doubt, these confrontations between the few survivors of Raccon City and the hordes of zombies, are quite good, as we have people with or without training being confronted by something never seen before.
Desperation, the desire to survive and fear, are some of the emotions most embodied within the world of combat in Resident Evil, since the survival of the human race and the team of people who join together to survive depends on them. In addition, everyone takes full advantage of what they have at hand, firearms, blows and various tools, human ingenuity plays a very important role against what would be undead resistant to virtually everything.
Characters
Once again we start with what would be my favorite section in all my reviews, the moment where I can finally talk about the characters that in my opinion were the best in this fabulous and entertaining film:
Leon Kennedy: Leon F Kennedy, one of the most enigmatic and outstanding characters within the world of Resident Evil and protagonist of a large number of video games of that franchise and movies, always having a participation in the vast majority, this is a fairly common cop, being of low rank, but with an innate hunger for survival and without fear of dark scenes in which he must face things out of his control, in this installment this did not have so much prominence, but if the fact of how his evolution within this world of zombies is reflected, initially quite fragile mentally to face them, to later face them without fear, knowing that his survival depends on this. Will Leon be able to survive?
Chris Redfield: Another of the best known characters in Resident Evil, Chris Redfild, a character quite robust and firm to make difficult decisions, this is characterized as a fairly strong character with a huge motivation and very charismatic, which is quite devoted to the rules, which follows with fervor. Being a foster child, Chris saw the escape of his sister Claire, growing up alone under the mantle of his foster parents who are quite curious, Chris becomes a cop to bring pride to his family to redeem his sister's failure, when the outbreak starts, Chris takes the lead and leads his team to survive. What decisions will this character have to make?
Claire Redfield: Chris's sister, being an adopted child in an orphanage in Raccon City with her brother, this girl is the opposite of her brother, as she is a little more rebellious and cynical at the same time, being an unruly girl in her teens and running away after being adopted by a somewhat strange family. Then some time later Claire returns to Raccon City to face a terrible present, which is a horde of zombies attacking her hometown to eliminate them all, that's when she decides to survive at all costs and rescue her brother along the way.

We arrived again at the end of another incredible review that I enjoyed writing for all of you in the community, besides, I wanted to bring it a long time ago, since I love both Resident Evil movies and videogames more than others and this movie is no exception, being very similar to the first installments of this incredible saga, this film in my opinion, left little to be desired.
I hope you liked it as much as I did, so, if you like this kind of movie genre and you haven't seen "Resident Evil Welcome to Raccon City" yet, don't delay in watching it, I'm sure you will like it.

Sinopsis
Bienvenidos al increíble mundo de Resident Evil, donde volvemos nuevamente a “Raccon City” con nuestros queridos personajes Leon, Chris y compañía para una nueva y terrorífica entrega de esta fabulosa historia enfocada en terroríficas criaturas llamadas “Zombies”. Debo destacar que, esta serie de películas está basada en los juegos que llevan el mismo nombre Resident Evil, los cuales son unos juegos bastante increíbles. Esta historia está centrada principalmente en los hermanos Redfil y Leon, los cuales son los personajes principales y los más recordados, ademas iniciamos con la infancia de los Redfil en un orfanato de una empresa llamada Umbrella Corporation, la cual se centra en la experimentación de químicos y casos con humanos alterados, en este orfanato los niños son adoptados y cada uno toma caminos diferentes en la vida, Chris se vuelve policía y su hermana Claire se escapa de esta casa para buscarse otra vida, años después esta joven vuelve a su hogar y se desarrollan ciertos acontecimientos donde los humanos se transforman en Zombies y estos deben sobrevivir a este brote a partir de un virus... ¿Lograran estos hermanos sobrevivir y escapar a salvo de Raccon City?
Opinión
Siendo esta una de varias películas que ya he visto de Resident Evil, en comparación con las anteriores esta es de mis favoritas, ya que los escenarios se asemejan mucho a los vistos en los videojuegos, los Zombies, son resistentes y bastante aterradores, con personajes bien desarrollados y estructurados, a su vez lo enfrentamientos entre los personajes y estas criaturas están muy bien, encontrándose en zonas bastante oscuras y temáticas que hacen sumergirte mucho más en este film, las bandas sonoras y los efectos para mí son excelentes, debido a que se apegan mucho a la secuencia y el arco argumental.
Realismo: Obviamente estamos tratando con una película de ciencia-ficción en la cual muchos o todos los aspectos son imaginarios, pero al ser fanática de las películas y videojuegos de Zombies, tenemos que este es muy apegado a lo que sería un brote de los mismos en el mundo real, cuerpos inanimados con sangre y sin conciencia con un hambre feroz para devorar humanos, sin embargo, debo decir que se parece mucho a lo que podríamos encontrar en los juegos inicialmente, todo esto antes de que pusieran a los zombies relativamente débiles y se volvió más un Shooter. Por último, esta película mantiene ese terror y un poco de realismo de lo que podría ser un apocalipsis zombie.
Armas: Es característico tener un arsenal de armas para sobrevivir, sin ser nada exagerada, estas son las justas y necesarias para los enfrentamientos entre vivos y no-muertos, si bien esperaba también elementos de cuerpo a cuerpo como bates, palos, hachas etc, las armas de fuego fueron bastante sutiles sin ser desmedidas para darle bastante emoción a la temática, haciendo que los zombies también tuvieran bastante resistencia y darle un poco más de prolongación.
Banda Sonora: Para este tipo de películas de terror y drama, una buena banda sonora con efectos de sonido profundos y suaves, en mi opinión es esencial, este es el caso de Resident Evil, con escenarios bastante geniales y profundos y una banda sonora creada perfectamente para esta, con un estilo de música bastante unico.
Escenarios
Siempre tengo un apartado favorito para escribir, ya que cada película y/o serie es diferente en cuanto a muchos aspectos, los escenarios son parte fundamental de los mismos y en Raccon City, los escenarios y estructuras son perfectas para imbuir terror en los personajes y espectadores, totalmente genial para la historia y la argumentación de la misma. Con orfanatos oscuros y aterradores, casas grandes, con poco espacio atacadas por el frio y oscuro manto de la noche, junto a una estructura bastante macabra, los escenarios de “Resident Evil Bienvenidos a Raccon City”, atrapan al espectador de una forma increíble y tan bien formados como para darles un screamer ocasional al corazón de las personas.
Zombies
En toda película de Zombies, lo primero que miro es como son, con esto me refiero a sus capacidades, estética y rareza, en esta entrega estos son totalmente geniales, resistentes y fuertes al nivel que deben estar, sin ser unas máquinas de matar como en Guerra Mundial Z, estos pueden ganar en fuerza, pero no exageradamente a los personajes, resistir disparos en zonas que no son letales para los mismos y con un amplio deseo por la carne humana.
Si bien hablo de forma general, para cualquiera que ya haya visto alguna película de Resident Evil en el pasado, sabrá que estos no se limitan a los simples humanos que vemos normalmente, ya que el virus incluso evoluciona en formas de carne mucho más grotescas y poderosas, llegando incluso a transformar perros y otras formas de vida en perfectas máquinas de matar, Totalmente alucinantes.
Batallas
Otra característica que debo destacar y que está muy bien hecha para tener cierto toque de realidad y además darle más profundidad y suspenso a la trama son las “Batallas” que, sin duda, estos enfrentamientos entre los pocos supervivientes de Raccon City y las hordas de zombies, son bastante buenos, ya que tenemos personas con o sin entrenamiento siendo enfrentadas por algo nunca antes visto.
La desesperación, el deseo por sobrevivir y el miedo, son algunas de las emociones más plasmadas dentro del mundo de combates en Resident Evil, ya que de estos depende la supervivencia de la raza humana y del equipo de personas que se unan entre ellos para sobrevivir. Ademas, cada uno aprovecha en su totalidad lo que tiene a la mano, armas de fuego, golpes y herramientas diversas, el ingenio humano juega un papel muy importante contra lo que serían muertos vivientes resistentes a prácticamente todo.
Personajes
Nuevamente iniciamos con lo que sería mi sección favorita dentro de todas mis reseñas, el momento donde por fin puedo hablar sobre los personajes que en mi opinión fueron los mejores acordes a este fabuloso y entretenido film:
Leon Kennedy: Leon F Kennedy, uno de los personajes más enigmáticos y destacados dentro del mundo de Resident Evil y protagonista de una gran cantidad de videojuegos de dicha franquicia y películas, teniendo siempre una participación en la gran mayoría, este es un policía bastante común, siendo de rango bajo, pero con un hambre de supervivencia innata y sin miedo a escenas tétricas en las que debe enfrentarse a cosas fuera de su control, en esta entrega este no tuvo tanto protagonismo, pero si se reflejó el hecho de cómo es su evolución dentro de este mundo de zombies, inicialmente bastante frágil mentalmente para enfrentarlos, para posteriormente hacerles frente sin miedo, sabiendo que de esto depende su supervivencia. ¿Sera Leon capaz de sobrevivir?
Chris Redfield: Otro de los personajes más conocidos en Resident Evil, Chris Redfild, un personaje bastante robusto y con firmeza para tomar decisiones difíciles, este se caracteriza por ser un personaje bastante fuerte con una motivación enorme y muy carismático, el cual está bastante entregado a las normas, las cuales sigue con fervor. Siendo un niño adoptivo, Chris vio el escape de su hermana Claire, creciendo solo bajo el manto de sus padres adoptivos que son bastante curiosos, Chris se convierte en policía para traer orgullo a su familia y así redimir el fallo de su hermana, cuando el brote inicia, Chris toma la delantera y dirige a su equipo para sobrevivir. ¿Qué decisiones tendrá que tomar este personaje?
Claire Redfield: Hermana de Chris, siendo una niña adoptada en un orfanato de Raccon City junto a su hermano, esta chica es todo lo contrario al mismo, ya que es un poco más rebelde y a la vez cínica, siendo una chica revoltosa en su adolescencia y escapándose luego de ser adoptada por una familia un tanto extraña. Luego tiempo después Claire vuelve a Raccon City para enfrentarse a un terrible presente, el cual es una horda de zombies atacando su pueblo natal para eliminarlos a todos, es ahí cuando esta decide sobrevivir a toda costa y rescatar a su hermano en el camino.

Llegamos nuevamente al final de otra increíble reseña que disfrute enteramente escribirla para todos ustedes en la comunidad, ademas, quería traerla hace bastante tiempo, ya que tanto las películas como los videojuegos de Resident Evil me encantan unos más que otros y esta película no es la excepción, siendo muy parecida a las primeras entregas de esta increíble saga, este film en mi opinión, dejo poco que desear.
Espero que les haya gustado tanto como a mí, así que, si les gusta este tipo de genero de películas y aun no han visto “Resident Evil Bienvenidos a Raccon City”, no demoren en verla, estoy segura que les gustara.
