Sean Connery is an extraordinary actor, protagonist of many thick films, which have certainly projected him among the best actors of American cinema. Entrapment is a very light film, nothing demanding, ideal for a quiet and light evening, without too many headaches. The co-star is the beautiful Catherine Zeta Jones, in the role of a sensual thief, waiting for the big coup with her master Robert "Mac" MacDougal (Sean Connery).
The film doesn't have many special effects but the story is really well constructed and intriguing, hard to get bored if you love Lupine-style adventure. The most intriguing part is Virginia's training to become an expert thief, under the supervision of her master. Sean Connery reminds me a bit of the charming James Bond, that intriguing and cunning, expert and severe look.
Plot
Robert known as Mac is a very skilled thief of precious and valuable works of art around the world. When a famous painting is stolen in New York, secret agent Virginia decides to look into the case and follow him personally through particular investigations. In fact, the woman, undercover, pretends to intend to collaborate with Mac, but it won't be difficult for the latter to discover her during the organization of a plan for yet another precious robbery. The two will work together despite everything, but will it really be a loyal alliance?
A light film, my vote is 7/10, somewhat in line with the web average of about 6.5. A film that can be watched alone or with the family, there are no violent or hot scenes, so even the little ones can watch it without too many problems!
Have you ever seen him? I'm curious to know your opinion.
