Of course there are no answers, but the film deserves originality not so much of the theme as of the (technological) way of telling it. And then, to see a monster like Will Smith cry in fixed shots on the first floor is an unrepeatable experience, unless Will Smith himself proposes it.
Another not insignificant detail, the music of Lorne Balfe which is influenced by the clear influences of Hans Zimmer.

La tecnologia digitale al servizio di una storia al cardiopalma che diventa pretesto per riflettere su grandi temi filosofici ed esistenziali. Se si possono clonare talenti e propensioni, si può creare in laboratorio una macchina da guerra (dis)umana che non sviluppi mai una sua propria umanità e sensibilità?
Chiaro che non ci sono risposte, ma il film merita per originalità non tanto del tema, quanto del modo (tecnologico) di raccontarlo. E poi, veder piangere a inquadrature fissa sul primo piano un mostro come Will Smith è un'esperienza irripetibile, a meno che a riproporla non sia lo stesso Will Smith.
Altro dettaglio non irrilevante, le musiche di Lorne Balfe che risente delle chiare influenze di Hans Zimmer.
