Ragnarok is a Danish television series, present on Netflix set in the town of Edda. Fictitious name, although in reality it refers to two texts in Norse, written in Iceland, which are the main source of information on Norwegian mythology.
In each episode we find references to Scandinavian myths, more or less obvious, and there is a particularity that helps the viewer to better understand the plot and characters; each episode starts with the explanation of a name or a definition that will then be found while watching.
An interesting series, which is passionate and is a great prologue for the second season. Despite this, it does not leave you with a sense of dissatisfaction, because in six episodes it manages to outline the characters and their intent well, leaving room for the imagination to continue.
The dark scenography and the soundtrack sometimes reminded me of Dark, another TV series produced by Netflix. Certainly an interesting product. Thor's myth is seen from another point of view ... If you expect the beauty is Thor muscle of Marvel cinematography, you will be a little disappointed but it is certainly an original product to watch carefully!
