It is a film that when I was a child I was always afraid to watch because it scared me a lot to watch the cyborg Terminator (played by the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger). Becoming larger instead I literally fell in love with the film, definitely become a cult of the 80s and one of a kind. Coming from the future to kill Sarah Connor, the mother of the one who will determine the victory against the machines, Terminator will be hindered by Kyle, a soldier from the future to protect Sarah.
The narration is very smooth and well structured and you will never be bored. There are many scenes in which the tension is particularly high, you can cut it in my opinion. The action scenes are well structured, with many special effects that surely help make the cyborgs more realistic. There are several scenes of violence that have branded the film as forbidden to children under 14 but you will see the movie several times and will appreciate them several times. The soundtrack, on the other hand, is really a masterpiece, so much so that it is re-proposed in all subsequent films and also in the TV series.
Director James Cameron has paid attention to a topic that is not at all obvious. Man is increasingly relying on the use of machines, processes in industries are increasingly automated by robots and we are creating real androids that will not only replace us in our work but will also make decisions on our own. And if we taught machines free will, what would happen? TERMINATOR.

È un film che quando io ero piccolo avevo sempre timore di guardare perché mi spaventava molto guardare il cyborg Terminator (interpretato dal mitico Arnold Schwarzenegger). Diventando più grande invece mi sono letteralmente innamorato del film, diventato sicuramente un cult degli anni 80 ed unico nel suo genere. Giunto dal futuro per uccidere Sarah Connor, madre di colui che determinerà la vittoria contro le macchine, Terminator sarà ostacolato da Kyle, un soldato venuto dal futuro per proteggere Sarah.
La narrazione è molto scorrevole e ben strutturata ed di sicuro non ci si annoia mai. Ci sono molte scene in cui la tensione è particolarmente alta, si può a tagliare a fette a mio avviso. Le scene d'azione sono ben strutturate, con molti effetti speciali che aiutano sicuramente a rendere i cyborg più realistici. Ci sono diverse scene di violenza che hanno bollato il film come vietato ai minori di 14 anni ma più volte tu vedrai il film e più volte le apprezzerai. La colonna sonora invece è davvero un capolavoro tanto da essere riproposta in tutti i film successivi ed anche nella serie TV.
Il regista James Cameron ha posto l'attenzione ad una tematica per nulla scontata. L'uomo ormai si affida sempre più all'utilizzo delle macchine, i processi nelle industrie sono sempre più automatizzate dai robot e stiamo creando veri e proprio androidi che non solo ci sostituiranno nel lavoro ma prenderanno anche decisioni per conto nostro. E se insegnassimo alle macchine il libero arbitrio, cosa succederebbe? TERMINATOR.
