Do you like cooking? I've been working in the kitchen for a few years now and I've come to the conclusion that I really like cooking, but I hate working in the kitchen. Anyone who has worked in the kitchen should understand me, working in the kitchen feels like a jungle where you have to do everything as fast as possible, however, seeing a well done dish and seeing people enjoying what you cook is worth it, but what about the stress? It's latent high, and that's why, believe it or not, I come to recommend The Bear.

The Bear is an FX series that is on Disney+ (or Star+ if you are in Latin America) about Carmy, a prestigious chef who due to the suicide of his brother, is left in charge of a small restaurant in New York that the brother owned; upon arrival, he realizes all the problems that the restaurant had and finds it almost impossible to continue, however, as if it were a favor he owes his brother, he tries in every possible way that the restaurant emerges. The bear has only seven chapters of less than thirty minutes and an eighth chapter that exceeds forty minutes, which makes the series very easy to watch.

I want you to understand one thing before you start watching the series, and that is that beyond the cooking the series is written in an impeccable way, showing fully 3D characters that you can empathize with quickly, showing us situations where some series would err on the side of drama, The bear shows us how a REAL person would react to certain stressful situations or any kind of situation that could cause distress, sadness, anger or even happiness. With some really funny moments, the series is based more on the drama of the characters and how despite everything that is happening, they must react in the most sensible way possible to move forward in a job that is much more difficult than people may think at first glance.

Quiero que entiendan una cosa antes de empezar a ver la serie, y es que más allá de la cocina la serie está escrita de una forma impecable, mostrando personajes completamente 3D con los que puedes empatizar de forma rápida, mostrándonos situaciones en donde algunas series pecarían de dramáticas, The bear nos muestra cómo una persona REAL reaccionaría ante ciertas situaciones de estrés o cualquier tipo de situación que podría causar angustia, tristeza, enojo o felicidad incluso. Con algunos momentos realmente graciosos, la serie se basa más en el drama de los personajes y el cómo a pesar de todo lo que está pasando, estos deben reaccionar de la forma más sensata posible para seguir adelante en un trabajo que es mucho más difícil de lo que la gente puede creer a primera vista.

Finally, I think it is a series that I can recommend to everyone, and to say that is a lot. The technical level that this series has is at another level, having a fast editing that I have rarely seen in a series because I know how difficult it is to mount a scene as The bear does in the kitchen scenes. Chapter 7, for example, is a real time sequence shot that just for visual pleasure you could watch more than once, and the performances of the entire cast are a 10, so much so, that it makes you believe sometimes that the series does not have a script, but they are real people who are being recorded in a magnificent way.

Por último, creo que es una serie que le puedo recomendar a todo el mundo, y decir eso es mucho. El nivel técnico que tiene esta serie está a otro nivel, teniendo un montaje rápido que pocas veces he visto en una serie porque sé lo difícil que es montar una escena como lo hace The bear en las escenas de la cocina. El capítulo 7, por ejemplo, es un plano secuencia a tiempo real que solo por placer visual se podría ver más de una vez, y las actuaciones de todo el reparto son un 10, tanto, que te hace creer a veces que la serie no tiene un guión, sino que son personas reales que están siendo grabadas de una forma magnífica.
