No Spoiler🙋 "Shyam Singha Roy" IMDb 8.3/10 Released: December 24-2021.

A few hours ago, I finished watching the movie "Shyam Singha Roy" starring Nani, Sai Pallavi on Netflix. I sat down to write with tears in my eyes. The movie directed by Rahul Sankirtan may not get the title of masterpiece of this movie world, but there is no way to dismiss it as another 8/10 South movies.
The Telugu industry in South India is not really famous for making artistic movies. With the direction of Rajamouli and Sukumar, many good movies have come to the market. Many action movies starring NTR Jr., Allu Arjun, Ramcharan, Prabhas. have been made here. There is a different atmosphere here for making movies by arranging local stories. Natural star "Nani" has created a different variety with a very simple ground and great acting in the crowd of so many things. Nani has played a similar role in the Telugu industry in the same way that Ayushman Khurana has created a different environment in Bollywood. Everyone now knows that Nani's movie means story based, mature acting, arranged action and exciting dialogue play.
The movie is beautifully made on the theme of 60's Kolkata, bigotry, communism, Bengali literature, Bengali language, religious leaders, women's rights, classical Indian drama, dance, bad practices of racism, horrible forms of prostitution in the name of slavery, trafficking of Bangladeshi women and children to India.

Satyadev Janga, a script writer, has made all these things enjoyable for the viewers in just 2 hours and 36 minutes. And Rahul Sankrityan has perfected this movie.

You will not know what the real history is and what the story of the movie is. But many times in slow motion visual stunning scenes or serious BGM action sequences will remind you that a great movie is going on.

Being a Bengali, I did not like to hear Telugu-Bangla mixed dialogues from time to time. But in terms of songs, Hindi-Bangla-Telugu in one word, I like it very much. It may sound bad when the movie is over, but take a look away from the screen with a beautiful satisfaction.*

The last thing I can say is, watch the movie. If you have a habit of watching slow movies, you will not feel bad about it in any way. 🥰🧡
