Starting from the early shot of the protagonist looking up and the camera coming down towards him is a sign that the heavens are with him.
His passion for making film despite not going anywhere and getting very little out of it cannot be explained logically. Akin to those poets who stayed in the place of their birth despite being able to migrate.

The passion soon brought him there indeed. The drive came from a deeper and a higher place and the fights span ages. The heavens cometh.
How it is closely related to filmmaking, I think, is not coincidental. One that tries to lift the society and stop corruption and power abuse is usually being put to an abrupt stop. Lincoln, Gandhi, Kennedy, Malcolm X, Lennon, and many others. But just like the protagonist, the spirit of fighting transcends time and death itself.
Physical death is not the end, despite being stabbed from the back by his own kin. His union with eternal love transcends him up a level. Like those who have gone yet we still utter their names, they are immortals, in a true sense of the word.
Shyam Singha Roy is an epic. Nani plays a dual role supported by the beautiful Sai Pallavi with great visuals and soundtrack.
