I don't know much about psychology, but it's a field I'm curious about and I watched the movie Stay, which was released in 2005, which goes deep into psychology.

It's about a successful psychiatrist (Sam Foster, played by Ewan Mcgregor) trying to help his patient (Henry Letham, played by Ryan Gosling) who says he's going to commit suicide on Saturday night.
This is where the confusion starts. Obviously, while watching the movie, the traffic gets confused about who is helping whom... and the mystery of who is the patient and who is the doctor is not solved until the very end.

I enjoyed the movie. It makes references to parallel universes and adjacent, intersecting lives, perhaps directly presenting this kind of universe and life.
It has a prejudice that if you change one thing from the past, the whole future will change, but it presents it as a complexity and a mystery during the viewing.
Just as a happy couple in today's life turns into a couple who have just met when one detail of life changes...
When the difficulty in distinguishing between reality and fiction or non-existent reality suddenly caused me to stop the task of treating and move to the patient's chair, I was completely immersed in the movie. So much so that I almost forgot all the positive and negative effects of real life.

I liked the movie and I recommend you to watch it with peace of mind. I should mention that it is complex and has a story that is mysterious until the end. Solving the complexity will depend on how much you give yourself to the movie and it may be possible not to solve it at all.
I would like to say a few words about the acting performance of Ewan Mcgregor as Dr. Sam Foster. His curiosity and his effort to keep his patient alive until the last moment was the most positive aspect of the movie. I can also say that I saw myself in his curious and scrutinizing behavior.
In spite of everything, if I had to choose one actor, it would be none other than Ryan Gosling. I want to watch another movie with him as the main character in the next week. I would like to get suggestions from those who have suggestions on which movie I can watch.
