Una de mis películas de artes marciales favoritas en la actualidad es la de Ipman, pero hace años eran las de jackie chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Jan Clon Bandan que verdaderamente son y serán por siempre unos clásicos, pero después de ver a Donnie Yen en la saga de Ipman en el 2008 quede fue encantada, se convirtió en mi nuevo y favorito actor y personaje de acción. Y hoy les quiero compartir esas razones del porque me gusta tanto esta película IPMAN.
One of my favorite martial arts movies today is Ipman's, but years ago it was Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Jan Clone Bandan, which truly are and will forever be classics, but after seeing Donnie Yen in the Ipman saga in 2008 I was enchanted, he became my new favorite actor and action character. And today I want to share those reasons why I like this IPMAN movie so much.

Yo soy amante de las películas basadas en hechos reales, me parece que un director que logre tomar una historia real y contarla bien en la pantalla grande, es un gran artista, y esa es una de las cosas que me enamoro de Ipman, que lo que se cuenta en esta historia, esta basada en hechos reales de la vida del gran maestro Yip Man aunque tal vez no toda la historia de principio a fin sea completamente cierta, porque sabemos que hay muchas cosas que se agregan a la trama para brindar una mejor ficción para el público, también me encanta saber que usaron su nombre, aunque su nombre real es muy parecido Yip Man o Yip Kai-man, y que además no es solo cualquier persona, si no que es nada más y nada menos que el maestro y mentor del famoso y querido Bruce Lee, creo que esa es una de las razones más fuertes para amar esta historia, porque sabemos que no es algo inventado por un director, si no que fue inspirado en alguien que realmente existió y que tiene una historia que contar.
I am a lover of films based on real events, it seems to me that a director who manages to take a true story and tell it well on the big screen is a great artist, and that is one of the things that makes me fall in love with Ipman, that that is told in this story, is based on real events in the life of the great master Yip Man, although perhaps not the entire story from beginning to end is completely true, because we know that there are many things that are added to the plot to provide a best fiction for the public, I also love knowing that they used his name, although his real name is very similar to Yip Man or Yip Kai-man, and that he is not just any person, but is nothing more and nothing less than him teacher and mentor of the famous and beloved Bruce Lee, I think that is one of the strongest reasons to love this story, because we know that it is not something invented by a director, but that it was inspired by someone who really existed and who has a story to tell.

Ya desde hace mucho tiempo se viene hablando de diferentes estilos o artes marciales que son muy populares entre el público como el karate, jiu jitsu, boxeo, taekwondo, entre otros y también diferentes estilos de Kung fu, pero hasta el día que vi esta película no tenia ni la menor idea que existía algo llamado Wing Chun que además si investigas se dice que fue un estilo creado por una mujer, específicamente una sacerdotisa que vivía en un templo Shaolin, lo que para mi lo hace algo extraordinario, porque en general todos estos estilos de artes marciales solo se hablan de hombres, algo que para mi hace que destaque del resto.
For a long time there has been talk of different styles or martial arts that are very popular among the public such as karate, jiu jitsu, boxing, taekwondo, among others and also different styles of Kung fu, but until the day I saw this movie I had not the slightest idea that there was something called Wing Chun, which also if you investigate it is said that it was a style created by a woman, specifically a priestess who lived in a Shaolin temple, which for me makes it something extraordinary, because in general all These martial arts styles are only talked about men, something that for me makes them stand out from the rest.

Yo soy de esas personas que les encanta investigar luego de ver una película que le ha llamado mucho la atención y pues en este caso no fue la excepción, además que era la primera vez que veía a este actor en 2008, Donnie Yen no es cualquier actor, si no que de verdad es un amante de las artes marciales y la mejor parte es que su madre fue quien lo influencio en este maravilloso mundo desde muy pequeño, además es alguien que le gusta practicar muchos estilos de artes marciales, para poder sacar su propio estilo lo que nos brinda una experiencia mucho más realista en las escenas de acción, porque sabemos que es él quien realmente hace todas sus escenas y no dobles de acción.
I am one of those people who loves to investigate after seeing a movie that has caught their attention and in this case it was no exception, besides it was the first time I saw this actor in 2008, Donnie Yen is not just any actor, but he really is a lover of martial arts and the best part is that his mother was the one who influenced him in this wonderful world from a very young age, he is also someone who likes to practice many styles of martial arts, to be able to get his own style which gives us a much more realistic experience in the action scenes, because we know that he is the one who really does all his scenes and not stunt doubles.

También quiero resaltar que más allá de esas razones, me encanto la forma como contaron la historia, desde que inicia con esa banda sonora que me parece tremenda, hace que te atrapa desde el primer instante y te introduzcas en la trama de principio a fin, estás siempre en la expectativa para saber que pasa en cada paso de la película, la puesta en escena de Donnie y los otros personajes es increíble, yo disfruto cada vez que le tocaba pelear con alguno de ellos, pero la mejor parte de la primera película y con más suspenso es cuando llegan los japoneses malvados y perversos.
I also want to highlight that beyond those reasons, I loved the way they told the story, since it begins with that soundtrack that seems tremendous to me, it makes you catch from the first moment and introduces you to the plot from beginning to end, you are always on the lookout to know what happens in each step of the movie, the staging of Donnie and the other characters is incredible, I enjoy every time I had to fight with one of them, but the best part of the first movie and with more suspense is when the evil and perverse Japanese arrive.
Ese aire de desolación y miseria que crearon fue impresionante, pasar de estar bien y cómodos ha no tener nada, causa un gran impacto en el espectador, por lo menos en mi caso fue así, y que lo impresionante es que sabemos que fue una guerra que si existió entre China y Japón algo que lo hace mucho más realista. Creo que la forma en como el director grabo cada escena con los efectos de la banda sonora hizo la mezcla perfecta.
That air of desolation and misery that they created was impressive, going from being well and comfortable to having nothing, causes a great impact on the viewer, at least in my case it was like that, and what is impressive is that we know it was a war that if something existed between China and Japan that makes it much more realistic. I think the way the director shot each scene with the soundtrack effects made the mix perfect.
Para mi esta película es de esas pocas que vuelvo a ver sin ningún problema, y no porque me encanten las películas de acción solamente, más allá de eso es porque esta trama en especial esta basada en una historia real y creo que hace que tenga mucho más significado que solo una película de entretenimiento. Y pienso que para cualquier persona que no la haya visto todavía no será para nada una perdida de tiempo, sin duda es una película que recomiendo con los ojos cerrados y eso que no tengo muchas películas chinas favoritas, solo unas pocas y esta es una de ellas. For me, this movie is one of those few that I go back to see without any problem, and not because I love action movies only, beyond that it is because this plot in particular is based on a true story and I think it makes it have a lot of more meaning than just an entertainment movie. And I think that for anyone who has not seen it yet it will not be a waste of time at all, it is certainly a film that I recommend with my eyes closed and that I do not have many favorite Chinese films, only a few and this is one of they.
