Hola mi gente linda de Movies & TV Shows, esta vez ocurrió como siempre me suele pasar, que luego de disfrutar de una buena serie o película, me tengo que topar con algo que no esta completamente a la altura de lo anterior, aunque realmente tengo una opinión bastante divida con esta película, porque en cierta parte me gusto y por otra no tanto, pero vamos hablar un poco sobre ella.

Se trata de LA GRAN MURALLA, una película que la encuentras en Netflix y que la vi varios días en el catalogo pero no me llamo la atención hasta que vi el trailer, me apresure a verla cuando vi la presentación de un grupo de guerreras con un uniforme metálico en color azul rey espectacular tocando unos enormes tambores, (aunque no se, si ese sea su verdadero nombre) para mi fue suficiente para darle play.
It's about THE GREAT WALL, a movie that you can find on Netflix and that I saw several days in the catalog but it didn't catch my attention until I saw the trailer, I rushed to see it when I saw the presentation of a group of warriors with a Spectacular royal blue metallic uniform playing huge drums, (although I don't know if that's his real name) for me it was enough to give him play.

Digo extraña porque últimamente cuesta mucho que me guste una película donde parte de la trama tenga que ver con monstruos, ya que no todo el mundo sabe como hacer una buena película de este género, siento que para lograr algo mejor que depredador o avatar hay que ser un genio de los efectos especiales, y hay muchas películas realmente decepcionante en cuanto a temas de monstruos, así que no estaba muy convencida, pero me arriesgue.
I say strange because lately it's hard for me to like a movie where part of the plot has to do with monsters, since not everyone knows how to make a good movie of this genre, I feel that to achieve something better than predator or avatar you have to being a special effects genius, and there are a lot of really disappointing monster movies out there, so I wasn't too convinced, but I took a chance.

Honestamente puedo decir que no es la mejor película del mundo, tiene muchos fallos como que los personajes no tienen ningún desarrollo, tenemos solo tres personajes que no son Chinos, como personaje principal esta Matt Damon interpretando a William Garin, su compañero Pedro Pascal interpretando a Pedro Tovar y Willem Dafoe interpretando a Sir Ballard, y como personajes chinos que puedo destacar tenemos a Jing Tian como la comandante Lin Mae, incluso se utilizan varios idiomas, el ingles, el chino y el español.
I can honestly say that it is not the best movie in the world, it has many flaws such as the fact that the characters do not have any development, we only have three characters that are not Chinese, as the main character is Matt Damon playing William Garin, his partner Pedro Pascal playing Pedro Tovar and Willem Dafoe playing Sir Ballard, and as Chinese characters that I can highlight we have Jing Tian as Commander Lin Mae, even several languages are used, English, Chinese and Spanish.
Si hablamos de vestuario y ambientación la película es en mi opinión extraordinaria, el vestuario utilizado por todo el ejercito es como una obra de arte multicolor algo que jamás había visto en otro ejercito y eso fue una de las cosas que más capto mi atención, además de la banda sonora de la película, y lo que también puedo mencionar es la sincronía con la que el ejercito ejecutaba todos sus movimientos y las cosas asombrosas que nunca antes había visto para atacar al enemigo, aunque esto no sería ni lo mínimo de suficiente para luchar con semejante ejercito de monstruos.
If we talk about costumes and setting, the film is in my opinion extraordinary, the costumes used by the entire army is like a multicolored work of art, something that I had never seen in another army and that was one of the things that most caught my attention, besides from the soundtrack of the movie, and what I can also mention is the synchronicity with which the army executes all its movements and the amazing things that I have never seen before to attack the enemy, although this would not be the least bit enough to fight with such an army of monsters.
Ver a Matt Damon como mercenario me resulto en lo personal un poco extraño, no se porque razón mi mente nunca lo puede asociar como un personaje malo, creo que las pocas películas que he visto de él siempre ha sido siendo del bueno, por el contrario su amigo interpretado por Pedro Pascal si da una buena impresión de hombre malo, esa sería una de mis quejas, y que tal vez no cuente con un guion o diálogos tan profundos, es una película que pasa rápido así que no la sentirás como eterna, tiene un parecido al señor de los anillos en ciertos aspectos, gracias a su misticismo y a la mitología china que le introducen la hacen un poco más interesante pero nada más sorprende hay de eso.
Seeing Matt Damon as a mercenary was a bit strange for me personally, I don't know why my mind can never associate him as a bad character, I think the few movies I've seen of him have always been good, on the contrary his friend played by Pedro Pascal if he gives a good impression of a bad man, that would be one of my complaints, and that perhaps it does not have such a deep script or dialogues, it is a movie that passes quickly so you will not feel it as eternal, It has a resemblance to the Lord of the Rings in certain aspects, thanks to its mysticism and the Chinese mythology that they introduce make it a little more interesting but there is nothing more surprising than that.

Aunque en lo personal creo que la volvería a ver solo para disfrutar de la banda sonora y el ejercito maravilloso que crearon, realmente me encanto.

Although personally I think I would watch it again just to enjoy the soundtrack and the wonderful army they created, I really loved it.
Y como dato curioso algo que no sabía es que la película fue estrenada en el 2016 no me imaginaba que fuera algo vieja, y que haya requerido un presupuesto de US$135 millones, algo exorbitante para una película no tan buena en su género, además de que fue completamente grabada en China y que creo una polémica en los medios por la participación de Matt Damon, ya que decían que su personaje debia ser interpretado por un actor Chino y no por un hombre blanco, es parecida a la polémica que genero la sirenita donde la chica era una morena cuando debia haber sido siempre interpretada por una chica de piel blanca como su personaje principal, algo así hacen referencia con Damon ¡increíble! ¿Cierto?, si ya viste esta película por favor me encantaría saber tu opinión en los comentarios, Gracias por llegar hasta aquí.
