I have been waiting for this film to be released since the first time I read about this a few weeks ago and after watching it I can say it was a satisfactory experience. The cast in the movie was pretty much unknown to me. The main character is played by Julia Sarah Stone, and after the great performance, she provides in this film it wouldn't be a surprise to start seeing more of her.

The story is related to dreams, the main character is suffering from sleep disorders and she decides to participate in some kind of sleep experiment in a clinic. She is a bit dysfunctional but the reasons for this are not explained. She just has a few issues and is trying her best to continue with her life. Fixing her sleep issues through this experiment seems like the wise choice.

He estado esperando que se estrene esta película desde la primera vez que leí sobre esto hace unas semanas y después de verla puedo decir que fue una experiencia satisfactoria. El elenco de la película era bastante desconocido para mí. El personaje principal es interpretado por Julia Sarah Stone, y después de la gran actuación que ofrece en esta película, no sería una sorpresa comenzar a ver más de ella.

La historia está relacionada con los sueños, la protagonista sufre trastornos del sueño y decide participar en un tipo de experimento del sueño en una clínica. Es un poco disfuncional, pero no se explican las razones de esto. Ella solo tiene algunos problemas y está haciendo todo lo posible para continuar con su vida. Solucionar sus problemas de sueño a través de este experimento parece una decisión acertada.

All the imagery we see from the dream world is quite dark and could be interpreted in several ways. In fact, the entire film would be an excellent watch for psychologists, the film itself is divided into several parts titled by concepts created by Carl Jung such as Anima & Animus, Shadow, Persona, etc. Even though I enjoyed the look of the dream world, it was dark and creative, I would have preferred the creators to include some colors too. There is a part where a transition from excessive colors to excessive darkness would have looked just great.

The reasons behind this experiment are secret and the people sleeping in the clinic and getting analyzed know nothing about it. They are just getting paid and receiving money, what they do in exchange for that, is using a special suit and a helmet with a bunch of cables so the scientists can analyze their brain while they sleep.

Todas las imágenes que vemos del mundo de los sueños son bastante oscuras y podrían interpretarse de varias formas. De hecho, toda la película sería excelente para los psicólogos, la película en sí está dividida en varias partes tituladas por conceptos creados por Carl Jung como Anima & Animus, Shadow, Persona, etc. Aunque disfruté del aspecto del mundo de los sueños, era oscuro y creativo, hubiera preferido que los creadores también incluyeran algunos colores. Hay una parte en la que una transición de colores excesivos a oscuridad excesiva se habría visto genial.

Las razones de este experimento son secretas y las personas que duermen en la clínica y son analizadas no saben nada al respecto. Solo les pagan y reciben dinero, lo que hacen a cambio de eso es usar un traje especial y un casco con un montón de cables para que los científicos puedan analizar su cerebro mientras duermen.

One of the things I enjoyed the most in this film besides the good design of the eerie dream world, is the use of lighting and colors throughout the film. Most takes look very nice and make everything seem a bit more mysterious. The performance from the cast was nice, and the story was intriguing but it had anti-climatic twists in the end.

I enjoyed watching this film, it has not only good scifi with suspense but also the potentially paranormal mystery related to what they are studying in the experiment. In the end, there will be many potential interpretations and the complete plot isn't properly explained. If you don't like the mystery or suspense genres, you should probably skip this movie.

Una de las cosas que más disfruté de esta película, además del buen diseño del misterioso mundo de los sueños, es el uso de luces y colores en toda la película. La mayoría de las tomas se ven muy bien y hacen que todo parezca un poco más misterioso. La actuación del elenco fue agradable y la historia fue intrigante, pero al final tuvo giros anti-climáticos.

Disfruté viendo esta película, no solo tiene buena ciencia ficción con suspenso, sino también el misterio potencialmente paranormal relacionado con lo que están estudiando en el experimento. Al final, habrá muchas posibles interpretaciones y la trama completa no se explica correctamente. Si no te gustan los géneros de misterio o suspenso, probablemente deberías evitar esta película.

Great visuals and use of colors. The film looks gorgeous.
The dream world was eerie and with mysterious looks
In a scene that only lasted around 4 seconds we see a cool figure that could have come straight out of Silent Hill.

In the final minute of the film there are 2 twists, the first one was completely unrelated to the plot.
I would have preferred a more concise plot and not that open to inerpretations.

En el último minuto de la película hay 2 giros, el primero no tenía nada que ver con la trama.
Hubiera preferido una trama más concisa y no tan abierta a interpretaciones.
