I am sure we have all seen a movie with this character but the new remake is the best one there is without any doubt. The story is completely changed, this is a more psychological take on the life of a woman that finds herself forced to deal with an invisible presence that is very hostile.
The woman is distressed since the beginning of the story, so maybe we are dealing with a case of an unreliable narrator? Are these things actually happening or is she imagining everything? You will have to see it to confirm it for yourself. The movie plays this option beautifully in the beginning.
The premise isn't hard to guess and any specific thing I could tell can be considered a spoiler. This is a thriller with some parts that could very well belong in the horror genre, or at least in suspense. It is a very serious and well-thought production and according to what I read, Blumhouse is going to continue producing more films about unique monsters and villains so I recommend checking their other movies as well as their future ones.

Elizabeth Moss gives an awesome performance as a stresses woman, just like she did in The Handmaid's Tales. It certainly seems like she was born to play this type of role. Imagine yourself being tormented with something you cannot see but you are sure it is real? It can drive anyone crazy. Check the image above and look at how real her crazy look is. She really seems like a crazy woman who belongs in a mental hospital.
I think this will be one of the main contenders for the best suspense film of the year. It had very intense moments, well shots, great acting, and nice special effects. It reminded me a little bit of Paranormal Activity, because some creepy scenes were actually very simple to shot. The best aspects of this movie were not only Moss's performance but also the camera work that implies the viewer there might be something there but what?!
This was one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in 2020. A must watch for those that have suspense/thriller as their favorite genre. The general public will also enjoy it for the most part.

The best
- Awesome performance from Elizabeth Moss and amazing camera work.
- Nice changes in the invisible man story.
- Interesting plot.
The worst
- There were a few silly mistakes that are typical of characters when facing high-stress situations. They were easy to spot for the relaxed viewer and they were absolutely tolerable, but it is a defect nonetheless.
- It could have been used more soundtrack to intensify some situations even more. Some parts were lacking a piece of proper music.
