I recently watched a movie that was recommended by a friend of mine. Actually, I've wanted to watch this film for a long time, but the time just wasn't right. Finally last weekend I watched it and was very impressed and made me want to make a review. Well, this film is called The girl on the train. This film is a remake of the film of the same name which was adapted from a book by Paula Hawkins. This hindi film is set in London.
Synopsis
It tells the story of a woman named Mira (Parineeti Copra) who becomes an alcoholic after losing her baby in an accident and then her husband having an affair with another woman. For a year, Mira always went by train with the same destination. On the way she observed a husband and wife who looked perfect. Until one day she saw that woman having an affair with another man. Since then, Mira has been involved in the family's problems. In fact, he was accused of killing the woman named Nusrat. Because all the evidence points to Mira and she can't remember everything that happened, she runs away to investigate what really happened.
My opinion after watched this movie
There are so many plot twists in this film that it is not easy to guess. I was shocked when I found out about the real killer. It's an impressive film in my opinion.
The acting of the actors is very good. I was really impressed with Parineeti Copra's acting skills. I rarely watch the movies she plays in, so I didn't know her acting was that good. Maybe after this I will look for and watch other films from Parineeti Copra.
If anyone is wondering, is this film recommended? Without having to think much, I will immediately answer yes.
After watching the remake version, I want to watch the original movie. Even I want to read his book.
What I think is a bit lacking in this film
Since the film is set in London, I thought it was a bit odd that all the police officers were Indian. This made me think, can people from other countries become civil servants there? Maybe because of my lack of knowledge, that's why I thought like that. Apart from that, this film is very good.
