Happy! é follia allo stato puro. Miniserie da 8 episodi dalla durata di una quarantina di minuti l'uno. Il protagonista é Christopher Meloni l'eccellente Chris Keller di OZ che reputo una delle migliori serie Tv di sempre. Ambientazione natalizia che racconta del rapimento di una bambina che ha un amico immaginario di nome “Happy”, un bizzarro unicorno blu che riesce davvero a divertire per ingenuità e venire ammirato per la sua ostinazione nel voler salvare la sua amata amica. Happy dunque decide di rivolgersi a Nick Sax ex poliziotto corrotto che non ha un buon rapporto con l'acqua nè con le buone maniere. Un buon rapporto però lo ha con droghe ed alchool, che prende in quantità industriale e con gli attacchi cardiaci dai quali sembra essere immune. Personaggio dalla cinicità ad altissimi livelli. La sua immunità si amplia fino agli incidenti stradali che causa e subisce parecchie volte durante la storia ma riesce sempre a venirne fuori con nonchalance. La trama non è nulla di complicato, racconterà le disavventure dei due nell'intento di salvare la bimba. Serie TV creata per divertire lo spettatore, soprattutto gli amanti del genere “trash” dato che il linguaggio é altamente scurrile e certe scene sono di una stupidità inaudita ma quasi geniale! Ogni minuto scivola nel divertimento, con personaggi davvero ambigui e stereotipati, come il gangster di turno “Francisco Scaramucci”, ovviamente di origini italiane, interpretato da Ritchie Coster che ha uno stile identico a Walter White di Breaking bad. Un tributo davvero interessante e da me apprezzatissimo lo si ha per Le Iene verso fine serie, non voglio rovinarvi la sorpresa ma é una di quelle scene che non penso vi sia passata inosservata se lo avete visto. I creatori sono Grant Morrison e Brian Taylor conosciuto anche per i film

Crank e Gamer, che non sarà una perla del cinema ma personalmente ho apprezzato parecchio anche se poteva essere sviluppato in un modo molto migliore. Si notano difatti durante la serie gli stili molto frenetici e le scene surreali che potete trovare in abbondanza nei film citati.Da poco finita ed andata in onda sul canale SYFI che a volte riesce a tirare fuori delle serie davvero interessanti.

Happy! is pure madness. Miniseries of 8 episodes during about forty minutes each. The lead actor is Christopher Meloni the excellent Chris Keller of OZ that I consider one of the best TV series of all time. Christmas setting that tells us about the kidnapping of a girl who has an imaginary friend called "Happy", a bizarre blue unicorn that can really entertain for naivety and be admired for his obstinacy in wanting to save his beloved friend. Happy then decides to turn to Nick Sax former corrupt policeman who does not have a good relationship with the water or with the good manners. A good relationship, however, has it with drugs and alcohol, which takes in huge quantities and with the heart attacks from which it seems to be immune. Character from the cynicism at the highest levels. His immunity is extended to road accidents that causes and suffers several times throughout history but always manages to come without problems. The plot is nothing complicated, will tell the misadventures of the two in order to save the child. TV series created to entertain the viewer, especially lovers of the genre "trash" since the language is highly strong and some scenes are of big but almost brilliant stupidity! Every minute keep you into the fun, with really ambiguous and stereotypical characters, like the gangster on duty "Francisco Scaramucci", obviously of Italian origins, played by Ritchie Coster which has a style identical to Walter White from Breaking bad. A very interesting and that I highly appreciated tribute to Reservoir Dogs nearly the end of the series, I do not want to spoil the surprise but it is one of those scenes that I do not think has gone unnoticed if you have seen it. Brian Taylor also known for the films Crank and Gamer, which will not be a pearl of the cinema but I personally appreciated a lot even if it could be developed in a much better way. In fact, during the series you can see the very frenetic styles and surreal scenes that you can find in abundance in the movies mentioned. Just finished and aired on the channel SYFI sometimes he manages to come out with some really interesting series.
