Ciao Steemians!

Alzi la mano chi non ama Tarantino! Io lo adoro, d'altronde o lo si ama o lo si odia! Vero, ruba sempre dai migliori però riesce a fare dei film leggendari semplicemente con i dialoghi.Il punto di forza dei suoi film sono proprio quelli, discorsi volgari, forti, blasfemi e razzisti che riescono a smontare e deridere quest'ultimo tema come pochi. I personaggi dai suoi film sono sempre brutti, sporchi e cattivi ed anche questo il caso del film in questione il più lungo della sua carriera della durata di ben tre ore ed ultimo dei suoi 8 film e un quarto, numero che ha messo nel titolo in omaggio a Fellini che fece lo stesso con il suo 8 ½, come già detto..ruba solo dai migliori! Cast eccezionale, di altissimo livello, come sempre, nomi stellari del mondo del cinema, oltre ai più noti Kurt Russel, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth e Michael Madsen spicca il non più giovane ne certamente novellino ma meno conosciuto Walton Goggins oltre a queste “vecchie conoscenze” dei film di Tarantino vi sono i nuovi entrati Gennifer Jason Leigh e l'esilarante personaggio di Bob interpretato da Demiàn Bichir.

Una minima parte é stata affidata a Channing Tatum ed una un po' più “corposa” a Bruce Dern.Scene memorabili come quella di Daisy Domergue che ammanettata a John Ruth nella carrozza riceve un pugno dal Maggiore Marquis Warren e fa un capitombolo da scompiscarsi dalle risate giù dalla carrozza. Il siparietto che si crea attorno alla presunta lettera ricevuta dal presidente Lincoln dal Maggiore Marquis Warren diventa a lunga andare davvero esilarante.Che dire poi della scena sul figlio del Generale o del caffé avvelenato e il conseguente processo che ne scaturisce per trovare il colpevole delle morti di due personaggi che sputano sangue come se fossero delle fontane.

Scena devastante quando il Maggiore spara al piede di Daisy e lei invoca Gesù Cristo ed ecco la pronta risposta:

Alcune curiosità sul film:

La chitarra distrutta da John Ruth era un'autentica Martin del 1870 presta in prestito dal Martin Guitar Museum di Nazareth inPennsylvania. Il Museo decise in seguito di non prestare più strumenti alle troupe cinematografiche. Gennifer Jason Leigh fu così sorpresa di vederla distrutta che la sua reazione durante la scena fu autentica.
Il film è stato girato interamente a Tellirude in Colorado, per rendere le performance degli attori più vere ha fatto mantenere la temperatura del set a -1°C. Ha dovuto inoltre far portare neve vera sul set in quanto nonostante fosse una località solitamente nevosa non ce n'era molta.
L'unico film che il regista fece vedere al cast é stato La cosa di John Carpenter.

Hands up those who do not love Tarantino! I personally love him, or you love him or you hate himì! True that's always steals from the best but a he can make legendary movies simply with the dialogues. The strength of his films are just those, vulgar speeches, loud, blasphemous and racist who can destroy and let appear really dumb like a few. The characters from his films are always ugly, dirty and bad and even this is case tehy are, the longest of his career during three hours the latest of his 8 movies and a quarter , the name of it is a tribute to Fellini who make the same with his 8 ½, as mentioned above...he steal only from the best! High level cast, as always ,Hollywood stars, in addition to the really well known Kurt Russel, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen great performance by the not really young and not a newbie but not really known Walton Goggins and the hilarious character of Bob played by Demiàn Bichir.

A small part has been assigned to Channing Tatum and a little more bigger to Bruce Dern. Memorable scenes like Daisy Domergue that handcuffed to John Ruth in the carriage receives a punch from Major Marquis Warren and makes a tumble down from the carriage that's is exhilarating.The hell of a show that is created around the alleged letter received by President Lincoln from the Major Marquis Warren becomes in the long run really funny. What s toay then of the scene of the son of General or of the poisoned coffee and the consequent process that results from it to find the guilty of the deaths of two characters who spit blood as if they were fountains.

The guitar destroyed by John Ruth was an authentic Martin of 1870 borrowed from the Martin Guitar Museum of Nazareth in Pennsylvania. The Museum later decided not to lend more tools to the film crews. Gennifer Jason Leigh was so surprised to see it destroyed that her reaction during the scene was authentic.
The movie was shot entirely in Tellirude, Colorado, to make the actor's performances more real the director keep the set temperature at -1 ° C. He also had to bring real snow on the set because even though it was a usually snowy place there wasn't too much. The only movie that the director showed the cast was The Thing by John Carpenter.
