Greetings, my dear friends, happy Wednesday! I hope you are all well. I am taking a break from the characters of Saint Seiya because I have started watching a wonderful series that was recommended to me, and honestly, it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Of course, from the title, you can guess who I'm talking about, and many of you have probably already seen it. Death Note is a psychological horror series where many things happen because of a notebook that is, let's say, magical or rather sinister, which causes every person whose name is written in it to die.

As always, my intention is not to tell you about the series because, first of all, many of you may have already seen it, but rather to pique your curiosity so that you will want to watch it. What I can say is that there is a constant struggle with what justice really is, what human beings become when they obtain unlimited power, and that the great corruption that exists in the human mind is undoubtedly terrifying.

There are so many things that make you wonder what would happen if you got a notebook like this. On the one hand, you also wonder who is good and who is bad. There are two key characters, and I must say that L is my favorite. I haven't finished watching the series, but I'm quite far along, and I think it's a very original show that tests everyone and definitely puts you on edge.

There are some really good characters, and you can tell that the production team took care to give them unique personalities that will undoubtedly leave you breathless. For example, I like something that is different from everyday life and where things happen in the series or movie that you didn't expect. In this anime, you find that and more. There is a lot of rivalry between the main characters. It's worth noting that I've only gotten to the death of one of them, but I don't want to give too many details away and spoil the surprise for you when you watch it.

There is a mixture of arrogance and superiority that makes you feel like this is real, because yes, folks, this is something that is quite common in people's everyday lives. That saying, “give someone power and you will really get to know them,” L and Light are two characters who will undoubtedly become among the most hated and loved in anime for you.

I love that you brought up the struggle over what justice really is and what happens when a human gains unlimited power. It is the heart of the series. Many people, at first, wonder: Is Light doing something good by clearing the world of criminals? But, as you say, power corrupts him and turns him into what he was supposedly trying to eliminate: a tyrant. It's fascinating to see that psychological transformation. I couldn't agree with you more, the dynamic between Light and L is the jewel in the crown. It is a constant intellectual duel, a game of cat and mouse where each one is two steps away from the other. That's why it has you so hooked, because they are not fist fights, but battles of pure wit.

This anime has literally become a modern classic. It's a great option to watch if you're new to anime or just starting out. And the best of all is that, no matter how many times you've seen it before, every time you see it again you discover something new about its story, its characters, its unforgettable scenes... in short, a gem of psychological thriller anime.

This is why Death Note is an anime gem ❤️ It shows us true human nature and what any of us might do when given a little power. We may be the kindest people in the world, but what would we do with a notebook like that in our hands? That's a very good question 👀 Power blinds us, and it takes great strength not to fall prey to it, Light fell, and that's why he became an iconic character in the world of anime. This series makes you question everything haha 😂
