This week's chapter of Chainsaw Man is heartbreaking, totally unexpected, and very cruel; the final pages of what was this chapter are among the saddest, most frustrating, and most desperate things. But before talking about Chapter 81 of Chainsaw Man , I will talk a little about Chapter 80, since I did not do its respective review.
Chapter 80 of Chainsaw Man shows us what happened some time after Denji killed Aki. The latter left half of the money saved to Denji and now, Denji and Power moved to another place, since in the shovel between Denji and Aki, their old apartment was destroyed.
Things didn't change that much after Aki's death (or at least the author of this manga doesn't show it as such), however, after Denji went out to buy food, when he was eating an ice cream, he threw it up as he had memories of the fight and Aki's death.

Denji regrets how he is feeling about killing his best friend, but "CASUALLY" Makima appears (with this character nothing is coincidental) and after talking a little, she invites Denji to her house. When they arrive at her house, they are welcomed by Makima's dogs, they keep talking, Denji is happy to be at that moment with Makima (since he likes her from the beginning, but Denji doesn't know how she really is, how powerful, manipulative and bad she really is). After talking a little more, Makima asks Denji what his desire is, and after some thought Denji firmly tells Makima that he wants to be her "dog", that is to say, that she should be the one to control him (very stupid of the protagonist), and so the chapter ends.

Now the review of chapter 81:
Chainsaw Man 81 "Give Paw", starts right where the last chapter ended, with Denji telling Makima that he wants to be his "dog", since he doesn't want to think about Aki's murder anymore and just wants to follow orders. In this chapter we are shown Denji's feelings about Aki's death. After this conversation (since they talked a lot in this chapter), Makima gives orders to Denji comi if he were really a dog, asks him to give him the paw and to roll, and Denji carries out the orders without protest (pathetic). After this, someone knocks on the door of Makima's apartment, Denji asks who it is and she answers that it is Power. Makima orders Denji to open the door, while she tells him that after he opens it, she is going to kill Power.

Denji protests but Makima once again orders him to open it, while his subconscious tells him not to, Denji opens the door and sees Power holding a birthday cake, since the next day would be Denji's birthday. Power looks nervous as Denji opens the door, but surprisingly and heartbreakingly, Makima "kills" Power, completely destroying her under Denji's incredulous and surprised gaze.

I really don't know what to think about this chapter, I have too many mixed feelings, first I am very upset by Denji's attitude, he lets himself be manipulated very easily and although Makima is already known to have the power of the demon of manipulation, with Denji I don't use such power. Although I'm not sure that "Power" is dead, since he is the most popular character in his manga and being a demon, with blood she can recover, although with this author, those who have read his previous mangas, know that he is quite cruel with his characters.
