Me he tomado el tiempo para seguir poniéndome al día con algunas películas o series que se han estrenado y que por algunos motivos no pude ver en su estreno. Una vez más Netflix nos trae a la pantalla chica una serie basada en un hecho real y en esta ocasión nos atrapa con La Enfermera. Su producción e historia es muy parecida al de la película, El ángel de la muerte. Donde Charles Cullen, un enfermero que por mucho tiempo provocaba la muerte de pacientes.
I have taken the time to keep catching up with some movies or series that have been released and that for some reasons I could not see in their premiere. Once again Netflix brings us to the small screen a series based on a real event and this time it catches us with The Nurse. Its production and story is very similar to the movie, The Angel of Death. Nos trasladamos a Dinamarca y específicamente al pueblo de Nykobing Falster el que podríamos describir como una región humilde y con muchas dificultades sobre el ámbito político y policial. Recordé un poco la historia de Dahmer, quien también pudo mantenerse en libertad por mucho tiempo por la ignorancia en los respectivos departamentos policiales. Y me pregunto, ¿Será que ya han cambiado las cosas?
We moved to Denmark and specifically to the town of Nykobing Falster which we could describe as a humble region with many difficulties in the political and police field. Es una madre recién graduada de la escuela de enfermería y en los planes de regresar al pueblo en donde se encontraba el padre de su hija le toca tomar una difícil decisión. Trabajar en el hospital Nykobing Falster que por cierto, es considerado el peor de Dinamarca.

Mi opinión || My opinion.
No me gustó, no hay detalles de la vida de Christina Aistrup Hansen, de hecho, en cierto punto deja de ser ella la protagonista de la historia. Hablamos mucho más sobre Pernille quien es la que en medio de la amistad tenía algunas sospechas sobre su compañera. ¿Pero qué le ocurría a Christina? ¿Qué la llevaba hacer este tipo de actos? Claro, además de tener siempre la atención de los demás. ¿Pero a qué costo? No tenía ni una pizca de remordimiento. Entonces, creo que si la serie hubiera sido basada más a la historia de Christina, hubieran realizado un excelente trabajo. Siento que faltó mucho que contar sobre la vida de Christina, por qué su trauma, su depresión, los problemas de atención, su trastorno.
I didn't like it, there are no details of Christina Aistrup Hansen's life, in fact, at a certain point she stops being the main character of the story. We talk a lot more about Pernille who is the one who in the middle of the friendship had some suspicions about her partner. But what was wrong with Christina? What was driving her to do this kind of acts? Sure, besides always having the attention of others. But at what cost? She didn't have a shred of remorse. So, I think if the series had been based more to Christina's story, they would have done an excellent job. I feel that there was a lot missing to tell about Christina's life, why her trauma, her depression, the attention problems, her disorder.
Entonces, el problema de la serie es que no profundiza más allá de los hechos. O sea, Christina sufría un trastorno histriónico de la personalidad. Suficiente para crear una superminiserie. Es extraño que Kasper Barfoed haya dirigido esta obra luego de la exitosa serie ¨El Caso Hartung¨

Esta es mi humilde opinión, pueden verla y cerciorarse que no me equivoco. Y bueno, podríamos debatir sobre esta nueva serie de Netflix que sencillamente, ha dejado un gran vacío en muchos de los que la han visto. Pero como digo, esta es mi humilde opinión. Puedes tener la tuya propia.
