Tengo unos cuentos días sin publicar y eso debido a que estoy pasando por una mudanza, el problema con el internet y otros que se suman. Creo que esta es la segunda vez en cinco años en la blockchain que he pasado un largo tiempo ausente. Créanme cuando les digo que no es por querer, pues adoro y me entusiasma poder seguir siendo uno más de esta gran familia. Espero que la tormenta ya esté por cesar. De hecho, ya tengo varios trabajos que empezaré a publicar en cuanto todo llegue a la normalidad.
I have a few hundred days without posting and that's because I'm going through a move, the internet problem and others that add up. Ayer fue un día tranquilo, solo que la falta de internet no me deja estar en plana tranquilidad. Pues mi trabajo principal es Hive y no atenderlo como lo he hecho a lo largo de estos años me da como dolor de estómago, dolor de cabeza y sobre todo mucha ansiedad. Pero ok, este no es el punto a tratar. Para eso me voy a Catarsis y publico por allá. Vayamos al punto.

Hace unos días en la nueva casa donde estoy viviendo me destine con Doris, mi pareja, a ver películas y ponernos al día con algunas. Empezamos por Thor: love and thunder. Una película que les juro deseaba ver pero no había tenido la oportunidad de hacerlo. Como saben, Marvel ya es propiedad de Disney y eso, a mi parecer, no ha traído nada bueno, creo que le han quitado la seriedad algunas producciones que ameritan tal seriedad. No podemos dar un giro a Terminator y ponerla comedia por ejemplo. Y a esto es a lo que voy, hay producciones que, a mí parecer, deben seguir con los lineamientos que lograron captar los espectadores.
A few days ago in the new house where I am living I went with Doris, my partner, to watch movies and catch up with some of them. We started with Thor: love and thunder. A movie that I swear I wanted to see but hadn't had the chance to. As you know, Marvel is now owned by Disney and that, in my opinion, has not brought anything good, I think they have taken away the seriousness of some productions that deserve such seriousness. We can't turn Terminator into a comedy for example. And this is what I am getting at, there are productions that, in my opinion, must follow the guidelines that managed to capture the viewers.

Creo que el personaje tuvo la oportunidad de demostrarnos grandes momentos en la película. La falta de un diálogo serio y los malos chistes para ocultar los huecos, fueron descaradamente fatales. Mientras la veía, solo me imaginaba a Stan Lee revolcándose en su tumba. Ciertamente la película nos habla sobre el amor y encontrar un propósito en la vida. Creo que, si la producción hubiera sido más trabajada, mucho más a lo que Marvel había creado con el personaje, esta película hubiera sido otro gran éxito de dios del trueno. Pero hicieron todo lo contrario, lo han convertido en un payaso.
I think the character had a chance to show us some great moments in the movie. The lack of serious dialogue and bad jokes to hide the holes were blatantly fatal. As I watched it, I could only imagine Stan Lee rolling over in his grave. Certainly the film speaks to us about love and finding purpose in life. I think, if the production had been more workmanlike, much more to what Marvel had created with the character, this movie would have been another great thunder god success. But they did the opposite, they have turned him into a clown.
Por otro lado, felicito a Natalie Portman por su papel como Jane Foster lo cual le aportó mucho a la trama aportándole mucho a la película. Su personaje expresaba honestidad y un gran corazón por vivir. Sin duda que ella aportó mucho a la película siendo uno de los personajes que más me atrajo.
On the other hand, I commend Natalie Portman for her role as Jane Foster which added a lot to the plot and added a lot to the movie. Her character expressed honesty and a great heart for living. Without a doubt she brought a lot to the movie being one of the characters that attracted me the most.
Ni hablar de la aparición de Christian Bale que me dejó emocionado. Su papel en la película fue espectacular dándole un toque al villano muy bueno. Es amenazante, melancólico añadiendo un toque humano. Sí, daba miedo y sus momentos fueron épicos. No me imaginaba encontrarlo trabajando en esta producción, pero lo ha hecho muy bien. Sin duda uno de los mejores villanos del universo cinematográfico de Marvel.
Not to mention Christian Bale's appearance that left me thrilled. His role in the movie was spectacular giving him a very good touch to the villain. He is menacing, brooding adding a human touch. Yes, he was scary and his moments were epic. I didn't expect to find him working on this production, but I was very excited.
Aquí es donde me empiezo a quejar y es que, sin duda, con estos grandes personajes desaprovecharon muchísimos elementos. Matar a Jane no me pareció del todo bien dado que se le notaba el buen dúo que hacía junto a Thor. Faltaron muchas escenas de peleas como por ejemplo Gorr enfrentándose a otros Dioses aún más cuando uno de ellos lo acusa por la muerte de su hija. Y sí, sin duda que la película pudo dar más de que hablar ¿La mejor película de Thor? Yo no lo creo. ¿Y tú qué opinas?
This is where I start to complain and that is that, without a doubt, with these great characters they wasted many, many elements. Killing Jane didn't seem right to me given the good duo she was with Thor. There were a lot of missing fight scenes like Gorr confronting other Gods even more when one of them accuses him for the death of his daughter. And yes, there is no doubt that the movie could have given more to talk about, but is it the best Thor movie? I don't think so, what do you think?
