Quiero hablarles esta vez de ¨You¨ Una serie que me atrapó desde su primer capítulo en aquella extraordinaria primera temporada donde conocimos a Joe Goldberg Gerente de una librería y a Beck. Hermosa, cautivadora, adorable mujer. Como imaginar que estaríamos frente una historia que nos reafirmará que el amor y la obsesión no son los mejores amigos. Con increíbles actores y capítulos que nos revelarán lo sociópata, obsesivo y compulsivo que puede ser un depredador cuando tiene de vista su presa.

De seguro ya la has visto, pero mejor no hablamos mucho del desenlace esta nueva temporada para evitar los spoilers lo que sí, es que me gustó mucho como fue esta nueva producción en donde lograron convencerme de una realidad inexistente por así decirlo. Pero creí y creo que debió de ser el final de Joe Goldberg y la serie.
Surely you've already seen it, but we better not talk much about the outcome of this new season to avoid spoilers what I did like is that I really liked how this new production was where they managed to convince me of a non-existent reality so to speak. But I believed and I think it should have been the end of Joe Goldberg and the series.
Creo que pudo de haber tenido un final diferente. Claro, esta es mi humilde opinión. Y es que el final te hace preguntar ¿cuánto más de lo mismo? Creo que en esta nueva temporada tuvieron la oportunidad de darle un gran cierre. Pero no fue así. Soy de los que creen que cuando llevan este tipo de series a muchas temporadas de las que necesita, es cuando empezamos a ver los fracasos.
I think it could have had a different ending. Of course, this is my humble opinion. And it's that the ending makes you wonder how much more of the same? I think in this new season they had the opportunity to give it a great closure. But it wasn't. I am one of those who believe that when they take this kind of series to many seasons than it needs, is when we start to see the failures.
Sí, es una serie llena de sorpresas, suspenso y muchas cosas más por eso me sigue gustando, pero espero que en la siguiente temporada no tengamos esa gran desilusión. Pero para eso tendremos que esperar al 2024 que es el año en que Nexflit se ha propuesto cerrar con este ciclo. O por lo menos es lo que dicen.
Yes, it's a series full of surprises, suspense and many more things that's why I still like it, but I hope that in the next season we won't have that big disappointment. En esta cuarta temporada hubo algo que me llamó mucho la atención y enseguida lo googlee, pues hablaba específicamente de la enfermedad que tiene Joe Goldberg. En uno de los capítulos Joe descubre un trastorno que el cual es denominado como Erotomanía. De seguro te preguntarás que significa. Pues se trata de una ilusión delirante de que otra persona está enamorada de él y llevándolo a tener un comportamiento que incluyen esfuerzos para tener contacto con esa persona, resultando ser una fiel amenaza para el objetivo de afecto.

In one of the chapters Joe discovers a disorder which is called Erotomania. I'm sure you're wondering what it means. Well, it is a delusional illusion that another person is in love with him and leads him to have a behavior that includes efforts to have contact with that person, proving to be a faithful threat to the goal of affection.
Fue un capítulo bastante interesa, no solo por lo que ocurría, sino, por lo que realmente estaba aprendiendo. Conocer a Joe desde el punto científico fue casi como descubrirlo en todo su esplendor. Cada vez que leía más sobre el tema del Erotomanía veía más claro la personalidad y perfecto personaje que había creado Penn Badgley quien es el actor encargado de interpretar este maniaco personaje. En lo personal creo que el papel le ha quedado muy bien. Sus gestos, sus impresiones, sus acciones, su actuación sinceramente nos describe a un claro paciente de Erotomanía.
It was quite an interesting chapter, not only because of what was happening, but because of what I was actually learning. Getting to know Joe from a scientific point of view was almost like discovering him in all his splendor. Every time I read more about Erotomania I saw more clearly the personality and perfect character created by Penn Badgley, who is the actor in charge of playing this maniacal character. Personally, I think the role has fit him very well. His gestures, his impressions, his actions, his performance sincerely describes a clear Erotomania patient.
Esta cuarta temporada tiene dos partes y les confieso que por un momento en la primera parte me estaba decepcionando un poco de esta temporada, pero de repente el giro fue a 360° y eso si me dejó sorprendido y entusiasmado hasta el final que repito, fue lo único que no me gustó, solo espero que en esta quinta temporada nos puedan dar otra gran historia con un final que si nos sorprenda a todos.
