Cuando me enteré que había salido una nueva versión de está película, de inmediato se vinieron algunas imágenes feas a mi mente, por ejemplo: el rostro transformado de la gran bruja y los ratones jajaja.

If you lived in the 90's and saw The Great Witch back then, I'm sure you'll be a little scared, from your memories, to see this version.
When I heard that a new version of this movie had been released, some ugly images immediately came to my mind, for example: the transformed face of the great witch and the mice hahaha.
Luego me enteré que está versión de "Brujas" era representada por Anne Hathaway, a ella la he visto actuar desde sus inicios en "El diario de una princesa", también me encantó su participación en "El diablo viste a la moda" y a mi parecer, es una gran actriz.
Fue entonces cuando decidí ver la película que traumatizó mi infancia y la de mis hermanos jajaja. Le pedí a mi esposo que me la descargara en mi teléfono pero para pasarla luego a un pen drive y verla en la televisión.
¡Oh oh, casi lo mato!
Mientras el descargaba la película, le pedí mi teléfono para enviarle una imágen de pago a un cliente de los seguros de salud que vendo y cuando abro mi galeria, ¡oh oh! No habia ni una foto en la carpeta llamada "cámara", eran más de 2 mil fotos, de mis hijos, paseos recetas para los post 😭 en ese momento, fui yo quien se convirtió en La Gran Bruja jajaja.

That's when I decided to watch the movie that traumatized my childhood and that of my siblings hahaha. I asked my husband to download it to my phone but to then transfer it to a pen drive and watch it on TV.

While he was downloading the movie, I asked him for my phone to send a payment image to a client of the health insurance I sell and when I open my gallery, oh oh! There was not a single photo in the folder called "camera", there were more than 2 thousand photos, of my children, outings, recipes for the posts 😭 at that moment, it was me who became The Great Witch hahaha.
Lloré, le grité, le dije que quería mis fotos nuevamente. El las borró "sin querer", ya que mi teléfono no tenía espacio y para descargar la película debía borrar algo.

Cuando ya me había calmado y mi esposo había recuperado todas las fotos, le dije: -Amorcito, ahora si quiero ver la película-, su respuesta fue: -Ahora si soy su amorcito, yo la borré-, pero ¿qué le pasa a este hombre? 😒🙄😱

Al fin vimos la Película
Mi hermana Sarah, quién es amante del cine, llegó de viaje el fin de semana, descargamos la película y aproveché de verla con ella, pero nos acompañó mi hija mayor Ammy (7 años), al principio no queríamos que la viera por aquellos recuerdos de la versión del 90.
Tenía miedo, lo confieso pero mientras la veía hacia las comparaciones e incluso con libro y notaba las diferencias.
Ahora la abuelita era la gran actriz Octavia Spencer, amo sus actuaciones, sus gestos y sus memes jajaja. Como siempre, interpretó muy bien su papel en está película.
We finally saw the movie
My sister Sarah, who is a movie lover, came on a weekend trip, we downloaded the movie and I took the opportunity to watch it with her, but we were accompanied by my oldest daughter Ammy (7 years old), at first we didn't want her to see it because of those memories of the 90's version.
I was scared, I confess, but as I watched it I made comparisons and even with a book and noticed the differences.
Now the grandma was the great actress Octavia Spencer, I love her performances, her gestures and her memes hahaha. As always, she played her role very well in this movie.
Los niños que actuaron, también lo hicieron muy bien, con el mismo o incluso más ingenio que la de los 90, en esta versión hay un detalle especial con el pequeño ratón de mascota que tiene el protagonista y me encantó.
The children who acted, also did very well, with the same or even more ingenuity than the 90's, in this version there is a special detail with the little pet mouse that has the protagonist and I loved it.
Cuando llegaron las brujas a la convención, uyyyy me dio miedo, sabía que la parte fea se aproximaba. Llego la hora de transformarse y la verdad, se veían menos feas que las de antes, solo debo decir que exageraron con las manos jajaja, se veían muy feas al punto grosero.

Anne hizo muy bien la interpretación de su papel. Lo más horrible fue verla convertida en rata, pero es algo que merecía.
Lo mejor fue que disfrutamos la película más que cuando mi hermana y yo eramos niñas, mi hija la vio sin miedo y ahora entiendo el porqué a los niños no les gusta bañarse jajaja.
Anne played her role very well. The most horrible thing was to see her turned into a rat, but it's something she deserved.

Cabe destacar, que aún cuando vi la nueva versión del 2020, siempre que siga viendo en las pantallas del cine a la actriz Anjelica Huston, para mí seguirá siendo la verdadera Gran Bruja, a diferencia de Anne que la veo dulce.
