Hola a toda la Comunidad Hive. Bendiciones, Esta vez les traigo una Película, dirigida por Domee Shi creadora de Bao, ganadora del Oscar al Corto Animado, producida por Pixar Animation Studios y presentada por Disney, se trata de TURNING RED 2022.

¿De qué trata?

Trata de una niña china de trece años llamada Meili Lee, la cual vivía con sus padres, en un barrio chino, ubicado en Toronto, Canada, Jin Lee y Ming Lee, su madre un mujer sobreprotectora, exigente y disciplinada con Meili, quería de ella toda perfección. Todo trascurre con normalidad hasta que su madre lleva a Meili en un estado de explosión emocional y sale a flote un secreto de familia que era la de convertirse en un Panda Rojo debido a su antepasado la Diosa Sun Yee y solo con un ritual de la Luna Roja podrá encerrar el espíritu del panda, Meili se enfurece con la imagen de Sun Yee, y sus padres decidieron que se quedaría en su habitación hasta que llegara la luna, sin embargo las amigas, Miriam, Priya, Abby se asoman a la ventana y se dan cuenta del Panda y Meilin llora con ellas y le cuenta la historia, Meili se tranquiliza y vuelve a la normalidad, abby le menciona que el grupo los 4 town vendrán a Toronto a dar un concierto y ellan quieren ir, pero resulta que es el mismo día que se realizara el ritual, pasando una prueba de sus padres para ver si el panda no afloraría, Meilin mantuvo la calma y sus padres le permitieron regresar a la escuela, allí en el baño ella hablaba sobre lo buena hija que era, y no le permitían ir al concierto, a partir de allí crece una oportunidad para recabar fondo para asistir al concierto, bueno no se las cuento más, véanla y disfrútenla.

Personajes destacados de la Película

ROSALIE CHIANG: Interpreta a Meili Lee una chica China Canadiense, de trece años, la cual estaba sobreprotegida por su madre.
SANDRA OH: Interpreta a la mama de Meili Lee. Una mujer insegura, temerosa y perfeccionista.
ORION LEE: Papa de Mei, un hombre pacifico, que la apoya en su decisiones.
WAI CHING HO: Interpreta a la abuela de Meili. Otra mujer autoritaria y mandataria.
AVA MORSE: En el papel de Miriam una de las amigas de Meili.
HYEIN PARK: Interpreta a Abby la más pequeña y la más desenfrenada, muy bello el personaje.
MAITREYI RAMAKRISHNAN: En el Papel PRIYA una amiga un poco gótica.

Opinión Personal

La Directora Domee Chi enfoca su Película al igual que lo hizo con Bao en la temática familiar, en esta ocasión la madre de Meili quería una niña perfecta, quizás porque a ella también se lo exigieron cuando era niña, de echo la mama de Meili, Ming le tenía miedo a su madre, se notó cuando la llama por teléfono, Meili en una conversación que tuvo con sus amigas estaba disgustada porque decía que ella hacia todo lo que le indicara su madre, era buena hija y sin embargo su mama no la dejaba ir al concierto, ni reunirse con sus amigas porque eran mala influencia, inclusive la avergonzó en la escuela llevándole toallas sanitarias pensando que le había llegado la menstruación, hasta que hizo liberar el monstruo que llevamos dentro en este caso el panda rojo, y desobedeció la orden de su madre y esta estallo liberando un monstruo más poderoso. Pienso que a los hijos hay que darle libertad sin libertinaje, ya estará rallado pero es así, porque ellos tiene su propia personalidad, lo que se tiene que cuidar es que sean respetuosos, humildes, serviciales, ordenados y otros valores que solo se enseña en el hogar. La película es entretenida, colorida y me encantan como dibujaron a Meili y sus amigas, sin embargo pienso que le falto historia. Meili a pesar de estar sobreprotegida, es una chica alegre, extrovertida, nada tímida.

Hello to all the Hive Community. Blessings, This time I bring you a Movie, directed by Domee Shi creator of Bao, winner of the Animated Short Oscar, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and presented by Disney, it is TURNING RED 2022.

What is it about?

It is about a thirteen year old Chinese girl named Meili Lee, who lived with her parents, in a Chinese neighborhood, located in Toronto, Canada, Jin Lee and Ming Lee, her mother an overprotective, demanding and disciplined woman with Meili, she wanted all perfection from her. Everything goes normally until her mother takes Meili in a state of emotional explosion and a family secret comes to light, which was to become a Red Panda due to her ancestor the Goddess Sun Yee and only with a ritual of the Red Moon will she be able to enclose the spirit of the panda, Meili is enraged by the image of Sun Yee, and her parents decide that she will stay in her room until the moon arrives, however the friends, Miriam, Priya, Abby look out the window and notice the Panda and Meilin cries with them and tells her the story, Meilin calms down and returns to normal, Abby mentions to her that the 4 town group is coming to Toronto for a concert and they want to go, but it happens to be the same day as the ritual, passing a test from her parents to see if the panda would not surface, Meilin kept calm and her parents allowed her to return to school, there in the bathroom she talked about what a good daughter she was, and they did not allow her to go to the concert, from there grows an opportunity to raise funds to attend the concert, well I don't tell you more, watch it and enjoy it.

ROSALIE CHIANG: Plays Meili Lee, a thirteen year old Chinese Canadian girl, who was overprotected by her mother.

Personal Opinion

Director Domee Chi focuses her film as she did with Bao on the family theme, this time Meili's mother wanted a perfect girl, perhaps because she was also demanded it when she was a child, in fact Meili's mother, Ming** was afraid of her mother, it was noticed when she calls her on the phone, Meili in a conversation she had with her friends was upset because she said that she did everything her mother told her to do, She was a good daughter and yet her mother did not let her go to the concert, or meet with her friends because they were a bad influence, even embarrassed her at school by taking sanitary pads thinking that she had her menstruation, until she released the monster inside us in this case the red panda, and disobeyed her mother's order and this exploded releasing a more powerful monster. I think that children should be given freedom without debauchery, it will be grated but it is so, because they have their own personality, what you have to take care of is that they are respectful, humble, helpful, tidy and other values that are only taught at home. The movie is entertaining, colorful and I love how they drew Meili and her friends, however I think it lacks story. Meili despite being overprotected, is a cheerful, outgoing girl, not shy at all.
