Very good afternoon, dear tasters of contemporary entertainment, today I come to you with the first series of self-conclusive chapters that I have seen: "Love, Death and Robots". It was a spontaneous adventure to have watched this series, since it was shown to me by chance and I didn't expect what I saw. First of all I have to say that it felt weird the self-conclusivity of the chapters, there were stories that I wanted more of and they had to give more, but not having it and knowing that they wouldn't have it was something strange for me.

Muy buenas tardes, estimados catadores del entretenimiento contemporáneo!, hoy vengo a ustedes con la primera serie de capítulos autoconclusivos que he visto: "Love, Death and Robots". Fue una aventura espontánea haberme visto esta seríe, ya que me la pasaron por casualidad y no me esperaba lo que vi. Antes que nada tengo que decir que se sintió raro la autoconclusividad de los capítulos, había historias de las que deseaba más y que tenían para dar más, pero no tenerlo y saber que no lo tendrían fue algo extraño para mi.

What can I say about this?, it is not a single story so I will just explain the mechanics of this type of series.
This is an anthology of self-conclusive stories, this means that they are several stories that are not related to each other and may or may not be the same style, in this the stories must have one of these 3 things: love, death or robots, and can have the theme they want: fantasy, sci-fi, horror, dystopias, comedy, or whatever they want.
Sinopsis
¿Qué puedo decir de esto?, no es una sola historia por lo que solo explicaré la mecánica de este tipo de serie.
Se trata de una antología de historias auto-conclusivas, esto quiere decir que son varias historias que no tiene relación entre si y pueden o no ser el mismo estilo, en este las historias deben tener alguna de estas 3 cosas: amor, muerte o robots, y pueden tener la temática que les dé la gana: fantasía, sci-fi, horror, distopías, comedia, o lo que quieran.
Análisis de la serie
- Había capítulos de la primera temporada me parecieron ridículos y fuera de foco; supongo que fueron los que tenían solo comedia y plot-twist simples (¿la administración mundial a cargo de un yogurt consciente?), reconozco que el chiste fue que dijeron que había que seguir las instrucciones propuestas al pie de la letra, y que no lo hicimos, pero el planteamiento y las consecuencias fueron mediocres.
NOTA: Creo que son críticas muy fuertes para el verdadero objetivo del capítulo 😒
- A mi parecer, se segunda temporada fue más centrada que la primera, y aunque las historias y su desarrollo no fueron muy buenos, de verdad tenía toda la carga filosófica y moral que le faltaba a la primera temporada; aparte de eso, el diseño de ambas temporadas fue excelente 😤 (al menos para los capítulos con mas CGI), en varias ocasiones me pregunté si lo que estaba viendo era digital o si se trataba de actores reales. (cap. 7, 11, 13 y 18 de la primera temporada y cap. 3 y 4 de la segunda temporada, me mantuvieron confundido un rato).
- Las temáticas tocadas incluyen, hombres lobo, miedo, gatos, criaturas ancestrales, esteampunk, cyberpunk, simbiontes, robots, implantes, bucles espaciotemporales, viajes interestelares, líneas de tiempo, super humanos, alteración del genoma, nacimiento de una inteligencia artificial, la caída de la sociedad humana, sobrepoblación y control extremo de la natalidad, juventud eterna, maternidad, anomalías genéticas y ultraregeneración, y muchas otras más.
Serie Analisis
- There were chapters of the first season I found ridiculous and out of focus; I guess they were the ones with only comedy and simple plot-twist (world administration in charge of a conscious yogurt?), I recognize that the joke was that they said we had to follow the proposed instructions to the letter, and we didn't, but the approach and consequences were mediocre.
NOTE: I think these are very strong criticisms for the real purpose of the chapter 😒.
- In my opinion, the second season was more focused than the first, and although the stories and their development were not very good, it really had all the philosophical and moral burden that the first season lacked; apart from that, the design of both seasons was excellent 😤 (at least for the chapters with more CGI), in several occasions I wondered if what I was seeing was digital or if they were real actors. (Ch. 7, 11, 13 and 18 of the first season and Ch. 3 and 4 of the second season, kept me confused for a while).
- Themes touched on include, werewolves, fear, cats, ancestral creatures, steampunk, cyberpunk, symbiotes, robots, implants, spacetime loops, interstellar travel, timelines, super humans, genome alteration, birth of an artificial intelligence, the fall of human society, overpopulation and extreme birth control, eternal youth, motherhood, genetic anomalies and ultra-regeneration, and many more.

1st ch. "Sonnie's Advantage"
My first impression of the series, it completely grabbed me as it had all the themes implied by the title; completely cyberpunk, and extremely raw; it deals with an interesting subject, symbiotes and neural links.
2nd chapter "The 3 Robots".
We will all agree that this chapter has all the philosophical baggage of the season, as it shows the walk of 3 robots through a society where humans no longer exist; it talks about our moral problems and our unstable nature as a society.
4th Ch. "Suits."
This is the chapter with the most drama of the first season!!!, at the beginning you don't expect anything that's going to happen, and it seems like a total anachronism; This is one of the stories I wish a series was made of, because when I watched it I could feel the desperation, fear and uneasiness of its characters. Very nice ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
7th Ch. "Beyond the Rift."
Pain, desperation, non-conformity, doubt, these are the words that describe this episode; an intergalactic freighter is about to pass through some kind of wormholes, and it's a bit far from where it should be. Believe me when I say that the ending is intense.
8th chapter "Good hunting".
I liked this chapter because of the drawing art and how cute the story is, it shows the passing of time, the evolution of technology and how the ghosts of the past have to be updated; it's steampunk and it really looks very nice the drawing, the air the story leaves is nostalgic.
14th chapter "Zima Blue".
I would say this chapter is philosophical, but more than that it is transcendental and along with chapter 4 are the stories I enjoyed the most. The story is about a very popular artist who is going to be interviewed, the story behind makes the imagination fly to the ends of the universe and makes us reflect on loneliness and someone's past.
18th chapter "The Secret War".
In a place as cold as a penguin's ass located in the former Soviet Union a war is going on, not against invading forces or aliens, but against something more difficult to control. The soldiers loyal to the motherland will do everything in their power to put an end to it.

2nd ch. "Ice"
Fastastic, sublime, superb, imaginative and stop you saying; this chapter has a very particular drawing style, and beyond the style the camera shots were phenomenal, making you feel that humanity has not even begun to exploit its capabilities; In a distant world covered in ice, some teenagers from a human colony want to hang out, only they are not just any humans, outside it is -10 °C and they are in t-shirts playing with the ball.
4th chapter "Snow in the Desert"
A story about loneliness in a Mad-Max world, where there is no water and alien species abound. The story chronicles the life of Snow, an albino with peculiar regenerative abilities (a death-pool with more judgment), who is just looking for a quiet place to spend his eternity.
6th chapter "All over the house"
Who doesn't like Christmas stories?, so we will all enjoy this enjoyable stop-motion story with a Christmas feel that will leave us with a pleasant taste in our mouth, which will come to our mind when we see the presents under the tree. This is a story that deserves a movie, I can assure you that you will laugh a lot when the denouement of the chapter arrives 😁😁😁😁 .

1er cap. "La Ventaja de Sonnie"
Mi primero impresión de la serie, me atrapó por completo ya que tenía todos los temas que implicaba el título; completamente ciberpunk, y sumamente cruda; trata un tema interesante, simbiontes y enlaces neuronales.
2do cap. "Los 3 Robots"
Todos estaremos de acuerdo en que este capítulo tiene toda la carga filosófica de la temporada, ya que muestra el paseo de 3 robots a lo largo de una sociedad en la que ya no existen humanos; habla sobre nuestros problemas morales y nuestra naturaleza inestable como sociedad.
4to Cap. "Trajes"
¡Este es el capítulo de mayor drama de la primera temporada!, al inicio no te esperas nada de lo que va a pasar, y parece un anacronismo total; Esta es una de las historias de las que quisiera que se hiciera una serie, ya que cuando lo vi pude sentir la desesperación, el miedo y el desasosiego de sus personajes. Muy lindo ❤️❤️❤️.
7mo Cap. "Mas allá de la Grieta"
Dolor, desesperación, inconformidad, dudas, estas son las palabras que describen este episodio; un carguero intergaláctico está por pasar por una especie de agujeros de gusano, y queda un poco lejos de donde debería estar. Créeme cuando digo que el final es intenso.
8vo cap. "Buena cacería"
Este capítulo me gusto por el arte del dibujo y lo lindo de la historia, muestra el paso de tiempo, la evolución de la tecnología y como los fantasmas del pasado tienen que actualizarse; es steampunk y de verdad se ve muy lindo el dibujo, el aire que deja la historia es nostálgico.
14vo cap. "Piezas únicas"
Diría que este capítulo es filosófico, pero más que eso es trascendental y junto al capítulo 4 son las historias que más me gustaron. La historia va de un artista muy popular al que le van a hacer una entrevista, la historia detrás hace volar la imaginación hacia los confines del universo y nos pone a reflexionar sobre la soledad y el pasado de alguien.
18vo cap. "La Guerra Secreta"
En un lugar frío como trasero de pingüino ubicado en la ex-unión soviética se desarrolla una guerra, no contra fuerzas invasoras ni aliens, sino contra algo más difícil de controlar. Los fieles soldados a la madre patria harán todo lo que esté en su poder para acabar con esta.
2do cap. "Hielo"
Fastástico, sublime, excelso, imaginativo y pare usted de decir; este capítulo tiene un estilo de dibujo muy particular, y más allá del estilo los tiros de la cámara fueron fenomenales, haciendo sentir que la humanidad ni siquiera a empezado a explotar sus capacidades; En un mundo distante cubierto de hielo, unos adolescente de una colonia humana quieren pasar el rato, solo que no son humanos cualquiera, afuera hace -10 °C y están en camisetas jugando con la pelota.
4to cap. "Nieve en el Desierto"
Una historia que habla de la soledad en un mundo a lo Mad-Max, donde no hay agua y las especies alienígenas abundan. La historia relata la vida de Snow, un albino con capacidades peculiares de regeneración (un death-pool con más criterio), que solo busca un lugar tranquilo en el que pasar su eternidad.
6to cap. "Por toda la casa"
¿A quién no le gustan los cuentos de navidad?, por lo que todos disfrutaremos por esta amena historia en stop-motion con aire tan navideño y que nos dejará un agradable sabor de boca, que vendrá a nuestra mente al ver los regalos bajo el arbolito. Esta es una historia que merece una película, les puedo asegurar que se reirán bastante cuando llegue el desenlace del capítulo 😁😁😁😁.
