Every time I watch this movie on my Epson 5040ub projector I'm in awe of how amazing it looks. I mean, for 1080p Rec 709 8bit color depth it's just insane. It almost appears HDR like before HDR was even around.

How does James Cameron pull it off? I guess its because he had to wait decades for the technology to catch up with his brilliance. They are currently filming Avatar 2,3,4, & 5 as we speak and I'm assuming it will be offered in 4k UHD HDR which should be pretty insane and I'm sure will leave the first movie in the dust for looks because of the wider color gamut and HDR highlights.

Awesome film and thats a cool projector you have. Wish I could Afford one. I have watched this movie multiple times on our 55 inch 4K ultra high def TV and it never gets old. theres always something new to see :-)
