Prison break tells a story about Michael Scofield. A man who willingly goes to jail. You may think that this is madness but he had a good reason to do this. His brother Lincoln was sitting in that jail and waiting for execution for a crime he didn't commit. So Michael came up with very complex plan how to save his brother from death. To achieve this goal he studied the architecture of the prison and the people inside it to the tiniest details. But despite being a genius he could not prepare for all the trials that awaited him inside of the prison walls. Not everything went exactly as planned and at times he had to improvise. Lincoln's death was desired by extremely powerful and well connected people so Michael had to race against time and forge interesting alliances in order to save his brother's life.
In season two we were introduced to another interesting character Alex Mahone. He was the man who had to capture the fugitives. Mahone had a mind as briliant as Michael's but with one big difference. Unlike Michael he was capable of killing. Entire season was an awesome game of cat and mouse between two geniuses.
Sadly I think that show greatly declined after the second season. The plot became repetitive, new villains were not as magnificent or entertaining and Michael genius was no longer as impresive as it was in first two seasons. First two seasons of this show were among my all time favorites I highly recommend them. The rest of the show... not so much.
