Hello! My dear #hivecinéfilos, I greet you hoping that you are very well to enjoy this review that I bring you about the premiere of one of my favourite series of the Netflix platform,
YOU- SEASON 4 - PART 1 👤🔪🌇
Taking advantage of the 14th of February, this inveterate lover who is truly capable of fulfilling that promise of _doing the impossible for love,_ this time he moves to another continent and we are waiting to see what new mess he will find in this old world and how he will get out of it.
The Hunter Hunted
If you've seen Joe Goldberg, you'll know all the hardships he's been through and that he's come out of every one of them well. When I started watching the first episode, minute one I said "this is going to be good" and I wasn't wrong. It hasn't let me down in terms of plot, staging, WOOOOOO! I knew it and stuff like that. I'm the kind of person who yells at the screen: Get out of the way, Get out of there, Turn around! And stuff like that, so, you'll have a scene of me watching Joe and Love fighting in such a way that ALREADY! I was paralyzed because I couldn't imagine what would happen at the end.
For those who didn't see the third season, a spoiler:
Joe finally stays with Love because of the child, sleeping with the murderer could be a good title 😋 and well, there happen their usual entanglements that they arrange little by little but masterfully. In the end, after a "battle to the death", she dies and Joe gets off scot-free by moving (at first) to Paris, looking for Marienne.
I think (my particular belief) This last person who entered this season, got pregnant. I don't know if you think the same, but something must exist to keep her alive in this current season. Because as in every movie, novel, series there is always a child left after those encounters 😁.

Analysis of season 4
You for me as I said was a series that I loved. This fourth season, Joe goes to Paris in search of Marienne because he is convinced that she saw and assumed "some things" that were not so and he had to explain it. However, on the way, events and clues occur that make him change his plans, which lead him to London and he has the option to start a new life, under a new name, profession and new friends. Will Joe be able to erase his past MURDERER- PSYCHOPATH- DEPENDENT- OBSESSIVE- TOXIC- PHRENETIC- PERTURBED- PERTURBENT and stop counting?
If that happens and he becomes an altruistic person, who helps others and collaborates to catch murderers with that profile, he would stop being Joe 🤣. I'm not saying that people can't change, but in this case, he has a lot of things to change in his behaviour and none of them can be erased just by moving to another country.
Psychological horror, killers, grotesque scenes of dismemberment are not my thing, but the show treats it so professionally that it doesn't even bother me. 😟 Look, it's something to think about when we see that and we don't feel ashamed or I can talk about it with my friends with excitement. But we're not killers or anything, sometimes we think about it and definitely NOT 😋.
As for the settings, parties, libraries, structured dialogues, Joe's thoughts which are the most fascinating thing because he keeps a masterful and captivating dialogue with himself, I just love it. Fitting into a "modern" world, when I am "old school" is not easy and I understand that about the character; looking for an opportunity to change but being called back again and again to what he did or did in the previous seasons, it's kind of complicated to get out of that circle. Lastly, I liked the old continent feel, the way of life, the new characters they included with their mental issues, it gave a bit of interest on how these episodes (at least the first 5) would unfold.
Reflection? There is an old saying: _Faces we see, hearts we don't know._ On the one hand we see perfect lives, ostentatious, millionaires, faithful to social networks, luxuries, eccentricity, dependent on the "plastic" life and on the other empty, unbalanced, aimless, vain, selfish, capricious people, who don't give true value to the important things and take advantage of their money to achieve their goals, often dishonestly. The You series shows us that in this world, we must investigate a little more, before taking for granted everything that invades us in the networks as truth or all roses, that is to say, those people as gods.

What did it lack?
I feel it didn't live up to my expectations as in previous seasons; the previous seasons were about thinking, strategising, changing perspective in a second. In this one they put more emphasis on making it look like a detective movie or murder pattern and not the essence of our killer for love. Joe is eternally in love with love, the people he loves, the people he wants to protect and the people he would do anything to keep safe, is there any of that in the series? I still don't see him as convinced.
What about Marienne?
Will they have a child?
Will she discover the killer?
Who will be his victim now?
I'll have to wait for the second part of the season to come and tell me again whether I liked it or not.
However, it will still be a good weekend plan, if you watch the first seasons it will cause you a lot of laughter, suspense, sadness, anger and the desire to delete all the nets because someone is watching you out there. This latest season is still to be seen in March 2023, but let's hope that it will surprise us and will not disappoint like the previous ones.

¡Hola! Mis queridos #hivecinéfilos, les saludo esperando que esten muy bien para disfrutar de este review que les traigo sobre el estreno de una de mis series favoritas de la plataforma Netflix,
YOU- 4 TEMPORADA- 1ERA PARTE
Aprovechando el 14 de febrero, este enamorado empedernido y que es verdaderamente capaz de cumplir esa promesa de _hacer lo imposible por amor,_ en esta oportunidad se nos muda de continente y estamos a la expectativa de qué nuevo lío hallará en este viejo mundo y como saldrá de ello.
El cazador cazado
Si ya has visto a Joe Goldberg, sabrás por todos los apuros que ha pasado y que ha salido bien librado de cada uno de ellos. Es que cuando yo inicié a ver el primer capítulo, el minuto uno dije "esto va a estar bueno" y no me equivoqué. Es que no ha defraudado en la trama, puesta en escena, finales de ¡WAOOOOO! Lo sabía y cosas así. Yo soy de la que le grito a la pantalla: ¡Quitate!, ¡Salte de allí!, ¡Voltea! Y cosas así, entonces, ya tendrán una escena yo viendo a Joe y Love peleándose de tal forma que ¡AJÁ! Quedé paralizada porque no me imagine lo que pasaría al final.
Para los que no vieron la tercera temporada, algo de spoiler:
Joe por fin se queda con Love por el niño, durmiendo con el asesino podría ser un buen título 😋 y bueno, allí suceden sus acostumbrados enredos que van arreglando poco a poco pero de manera magistral. Al final, después de una "batalla a muerte", ella muere y Joe sale librado mudándose (al principio) a París, buscando a Marienne.
Yo pienso (mi creencia particular) Esta última persona que entró en esta temporada, quedó embarazada. No sé si opinan lo mismo, pero algo tiene que existir para poder mantenerla viva en esta temporada actual. Porque como en toda película, novela, serie siempre queda un hijo después de esos encuentros 😁.

Análisis de la temporada 4
You para mí como dije fue una serie que me encantó. Esta cuarta temporada, Joe va a París en busca de Marienne porque él esta convencido que ella vio y supuso "algunas cosas" que no eran así y él tenía que explicarlo. Sin embargo, en el trayecto ocurren eventos y pistas que hacen tener un vuelco de sus planes, que lo llevan hasta Londres y tiene la opción de empezar una vida, bajo otro nombre, profesión y nuevos amigos ¿Podrá Joe borrar su pasado ASESINO- PSICÓPATA- DEPENDIENTE- OBSESIVO- TÓXICO- FRENÉTICO- PERTURBADO y pare de contar?
Si eso sucede y se convierte en una persona altruista, que ayuda al prójimo y colabora para atrapar asesinos con ese perfil, dejaría de ser Joe 🤣. Es que no estoy diciendo que las personas no pueden cambiar, sino que en este caso, tiene muchas cosas que cambiar en su comportamiento y ninguna de ellas se borra solo con mudarse a otro país.
El terror psicológico, asesinos, escenas grotesca de desmembramiento no son lo mío, pero en la serie lo tratan tan profesionalmente que ni me molesta ¿Acaso tendré yo instintos asesinos? 😟 Mire, es de pensarlo cuando vemos eso y no se siente pudor o puedo comentarlo con mis amigas con emoción. Pero no somos asesinas ni nada, a veces lo pensamos y definitivamente NO 😋.
En cuanto a los escenarios, fiestas, bibliotecas, diálogos estructurados, los pensamientos de Joe que son lo más fascinante porque mantiene un diálogo consigo mismo magistral y cautivador, simplemente me encanta. Encajar en un mundo "moderno", cuando yo soy "a la escuela antigua" no es fácil y eso lo entiendo del personaje; buscar una oportunidad para cambiar pero que sea llamado una y otra vez a lo que hacía o hizo en las temporadas anteriores, esta como complicado salir de ese círculo. Por último, Me gusto el aire del viejo continente, la forma de vida, los nuevos personajes que incluyeron con sus problemas mentales, le dio un poco de interés sobre cómo se desenvolverían estos episodios (al menos los primeros 5).
¿Reflexión? Dice un viejo refrán: _caras vemos, corazones no sabemos._ Por un lado vemos vidas perfectas, ostentosas, millonarias, fieles a las redes sociales, lujos, excentricidad, dependientes de la vida "plástica" y por otro personas vacías, desequilibradas, sin norte, vanidosas, egoístas, caprichosas, que no dan el verdadero valor a las cosas importantes y se aprovechan de su dinero para poder alcanzar sus objetivos muchas veces de forma deshonesta. La serie You nos muestra que en este mundo, debemos investigar un poco más, antes de dar por hecho todo lo que nos invade en las redes como verdad o todo color de rosas, es decir, a esas personas como dioses.

¿Qué le faltó?
Siento que no alcanzó mis expectativas como en otras ocasiones; las temporadas anteriores, eran de pensamiento, estrategias, cambio de perspectiva en un segundo. En esta pusieron mas enfásis en hacerla parecer una película de detectives o patrones de asesinato y no la esencia de nuestro asesino por amor. Joe es un eterno enamorado del amor, de las personas que ama, de las que quiere proteger y de las que haría cualquier cosa por mantenerlas a salvo, ¿Hay algo de eso en la serie? Aún no le veo como convencido.
¿Qué pasa con Marienne?
¿Tendrán un hijo?
¿Descubrirá al asesino?
¿Quién será ahora su victima?
Tendré que esperar la segunda parte de la temporada para venir a echar el cuento nuevamente de si me gustó o no.
Sin embargo, seguirá siendo un buen plan de fin de semana, si ves las primeras temporadas te causará mucha risa, suspenso, tristeza, rabia y ganas de eliminar todas las redes porque alguien te esta observando allá afuera. De esta última temporada, aun se espera por ver en marzo 2023, pero confiemos en que nos soprenderá y no defraudará como las anteriores.
