I was recently recommended a Netflix series, it was recommended to me as an extremist series that could glimpse what could happen to humanity and how our future could be; this series is Snowpiercer, a series based on another movie with the same name, which I had no idea it existed until last weekend that I was told about it. I must say that it is not the kind of TV shows I usually watch, because to tell the truth I am not a big fan of watching TV, unless they are cooking shows, or some medieval series with magical touches included.

It is thanks to the occurrence of these murders that the whole lie behind the absence of Mr. Wilford is discovered, becoming evident that he is not inside the train, which causes Layton to be locked in an incubator, with a kind of cryogenic treatment with unknown results yet, and thus originating the last revolution and the loss of 7 cars, which are uncoupled so that in this way Layton after being taken out of the incubators will command the revolution that will lead him to take command of the Snowpiercer, wanting to create new governance with new statutes and laws, where he decrees in principle that the train belongs to all and that now the rights would be equal for all. Thus generating discomfort in the first and second class, riots, theft, and looting by those who were in third class and those who make up the tailor also called scum. When things seemed to begin to improve, another train appears, the Big Alice, where Mr. Wilford is, this train reaches the Snowpiercer and this is where a power struggle begins again, we still do not know who will win.

I really loved this first season, and they have just released the first chapter of the second, leaving me wanting more. It is a very realistic series, to tell the truth, and that presents us with a scenario that we do not know if in the future we could live, there is a lot of cruelty and scenes of quite strong content, so it is not suitable for the little ones, They show us a scenario very similar to what we lived in my country, in terms of the political aspect, there are corruption, injustice and a marginalized social class that is revealed by their really difficult living conditions, regardless of the way in which they got to the place where they were. In the end, the latter come to power by force (OH my goodness! When that happened, I felt like I had already seen it elsewhere LOL) thus leaving those who had originally invested for the construction of what would be their home, with nothing, as many of these were simply uncoupled from the train. I think these events have left me hooked on the series, and I can't wait for more episodes of its second season to arrive on Netflix. The recommendation I was given was very good, and likewise, I invite you to watch it if possible for yourselves, you will surely be hooked as well.

Hace poco me recomendaron una serie de Netflix, me la recomendaron como una serie extremista que podría vislumbrar lo que puede ocurrirle a la humanidad y como podría ser nuestro futuro; esta serie es Snowpiercer, una serie basada en otra película con el mismo nombre, de la cual no tenía idea que existía hasta el fin de semana pasado que me hablaron de ella. Debo decir que no es el tipo de programas de televisión que suelo ver, pues a decir verdad no soy muy fanática de ver televisión, a menos que sean programas de cocina, o alguna serie medieval con toques mágicos incluidos.

En 7 años funcionando "a la perfección", estas personas de la cola como son también llamados, han participado en un sinnúmero de revoluciones, luchando por obtener mejores condiciones de vida y al menos buena alimentación. Cuando se está gestando una de las ultimas revoluciones, se llevan al que sería su líder, André Layton un exdetective, que es obligado a resolver una serie de asesinatos que perturban la tranquilidad de Melanie Cavill y su tan querida primera clase.

Es gracias a que ocurren estos asesinatos que se descubre toda la mentira que hay oculta detrás de la ausencia del Sr Wilford, quedando en evidencia que el mismo no se encuentra dentro del tren, lo que ocasiona que Layton sea encerrado en una incubadora, con una especie de tratamiento criogénico con resultados desconocidos aun, y originándose así la última revolución y la pérdida de 7 vagones, que son desacoplados para que de esta manera Layton después de ser sacado de las incubadoras pasara a comandar la revolución que lo llevara a tomar el mando del Snowpiercer, queriendo crear así una nueva gobernanza con nuevos estatutos y leyes, donde el decreta en principio que el tren es de todos y que ahora los derechos serian iguales para todos. Generando de esta manera molestias en la primera y segunda clase, disturbios, robos y saqueos por parte de los que estaban en tercera clase y los que conforman la cola o llamados también escorias. Cuando las cosas parecían comenzar a mejorar, aparece otro tren, el Big Alice, en donde si se encuentra el Sr Wilford, este tren alcanza al Snowpiercer y es aquí donde comienza nuevamente una lucha de poderes, que aún no sabemos quién ganara.
Esta primera temporada realmente me encanto, y apenas han lanzado el primer capítulo de la segunda, dejándome así con ganas de más. Es una serie muy realista a decir verdad, y que nos presenta un escenario que no sabemos si en un futuro podríamos vivir, hay mucha crueldad y escenas de contenido bastante fuerte, por lo que no es apta para los más pequeños, Nos muestran un escenario muy similar a lo que vivíamos en mi país, en cuanto al aspecto político, hay corrupción, injusticias y una clase social marginada que se revela por sus condiciones realmente difíciles de vida, sin tener en cuenta la forma en la que llegaron al sitio donde estaban. Al final estos últimos llegan al poder por la fuerza (¡OH por Dios! Cuando eso sucedió, me sentí como si ya lo había visto en otro lado LOL) dejando así a los que en principio habían invertido para la construcción de lo que sería su hogar, sin nada, pues muchos de estos simplemente fueron desacoplados del tren. Creo que estos hechos me han dejado enganchada de la serie, y no puedo esperar a que lleguen a Netflix más capítulos de su segunda temporada. La recomendación que me dieron fue muy buena, y de igual manera los invito a verla de ser posible para ustedes, seguramente se engancharan también.
