Happy weekend to all movie lovers, welcome once again to my blog! While watching TV, I came across a movie on TNT channel, which by the way I had not seen for a while, or rather I had only seen a part of it, and this time I was able to see it from the beginning to the end. Most of the audience knows this great and thoughtful production, which, I highlight one of the actors that stood out the most in the filming; Will Smith; an actor that I have loved since I saw him develop his role in I Am Legend, another great success of his career. Now, so I won't get sidetracked, today I will talk to you about the movie titled, Pursuit of Happiness, released in 2006, a drama genre. Without further ado, if you haven't seen it, I invite you to stay and watch it until the end (you can see it on Netflix platform), and if you have seen it, I hope to read your commentary on the impact of this work in your life.
¡Feliz fin de semana a todos los amantes del cine! ¡Bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog! Mientras veía la televisión, me topé con una película en el canal de TNT, que por cierto tenía rato que no visualizaba, mejor dicho había solo visto una parte de ella y pues esta vez, la pude ver desde el principio hasta el final. La mayoría de la audiencia conoce esta gran y reflexiva producción, la cual, resalto a uno de los actores que más destacó en la filmación; Will Smith; un actor que me ha encantado desde que lo vi desenvolver su papel en Soy Leyenda, otro gran éxito de su carrera. Ahora sí, para no desviarme, hoy les hablaré de la película titulada, En busca de la felicidad, publicada en el año 2006, de género drama. Sin más preámbulos, si no la has visto, te envito a que te quedes y leas hasta el final (puedes verla en la plataforma de Netflix), y si la has visto, espero leer tu comentario sobre el impacto de esta obra en tu vida.
Pursuit of Happiness tells the story of Gardner, a father who, after his wife leaves him, decides to move forward with his young son Christopher. From that moment on, we will begin to go through the most difficult moments that this father has to go through with his son, trying to find a place to live and a stable job in order to achieve the happiness of having economic stability. I should point out that the movie was not even halfway through and I was already shedding tears, I felt frustrated and bad for Gardner, since he really just wanted to have a better quality of life, but everything went wrong. And this is one of the things I loved about this production, the great message it leaves you with. From the beginning we will see a man who keeps going, who does not give up, that even though things do not go as he expects, he keeps shaking and getting up as if nothing had happened, with that great hope that everything will improve in his life and thus give the best to Christopher.
En busca de la felicidad, narra la historia de Gardner un padre que desde que su esposa lo abandona, decide seguir adelante con su pequeño hijo llamado Christopher. A partir de ese momento, comenzaremos a recorrer los instantes más dificiles que tiene que atravesar este padre con su hijo, al intentar encontrar un lugar para vivir y un trabajo estable con el fin de alcanzar esa felicidad de tener estabilidad económica. Debo resaltar, que la película no había llegado a la mitad y ya estaba soltando lágrimas, me sentía frustrada y mal por Gardner, ya que, realmente él sólo quería tener una mejor calidad de vida, pero todo le salía mal. Y esto es una de las cosas que me encantó de esta producción el gran mensaje que te deja. Desde el comienzo veremos a un hombre que sigue adelante, que no se rinde, que a pesar de que las cosas no salen como él espera, sigue sacudiéndose y levantándose como si nada hubiera pasado, con esa gran esperanza de que todo mejore en su vida y así brindarle lo mejor a Christopher.
As the filming progresses things are getting worse, for a moment I thought that the father would leave the towel. And sometimes we don't know what to do, we just cry with helplessness because you want to achieve so many things, but you feel how all the doors close in your face, it's very strong. Later on, we see how Chris Gardner was able to be issued to a famous recruitment program of a finance company, so he must give the best of him to be hired, you can imagine his happiness, to think that he was just steps away from a 360º turn in his life, clearly he would not receive any salary, but his hopes still remained. Chris, is a clear example that if you set goals, and fight for them, you will achieve them. But the key is, as I have always mentioned, perseverance and believing that you are capable of achieving success no matter the obstacles.
A medida que avanza la filmación las cosas van empeorando, por momento pensé que el padre dejaría la toalla. Y es que a veces no sabemos que hacer que sólo lloramos de impotencia porque quieres lograr tantas cosas, pero sientes como todas las puertas se cierran en tu rostro, es muy fuerte. Más adelante, vemos como a Chris Gardner lo logran emitir a un famoso programa de captación de una empresa de finanzas, por lo que, debe dar lo mejor de él para ser contratado, se podrán imaginar su felicidad, pensar que estaba a solo pasos de que su vida diera un giro de 360º, claramente no recibiría ningún salario, pero sus esperanzas aún se mantenían. Chris, es un claro ejemplo de que si te propones metas, y luchas por ello, lo alcanzarás. Pero la clave está como siempre lo he mencionado en la perseverancia y en creer que eres capaz de alcanzar el éxito no importando los obstáculos.
Regarding the main characters, I loved how Will plays the role, he is a pro in this area of acting, I really admire him a lot. Jaden, Will's son in real life, for a child plays his role incredibly well, he looks very natural and calm. I really don't have anything negative to say about it. The atmosphere, was quite in line with the whole plot. And on the other hand, what had the most impact on the filming were the thoughts that were undoubtedly very conisdered and super powerful, among them I highlight; "If you have a dream you have to protect it. People who can't do something will tell you that you can't do it either. If you want something go for it, period" And to close, you have to see the ending, I cried from so much joy.
Con respecto a los protagonistas, me encantó como Will interpreta el papel, es un pro en esta área de la actuación, realmente lo admiro muchísimo. Jaden, hijo de Will en la vida real, para ser un niño desenvuelve su papel de manera increíble, se ve muy natural y tranquilo. Realmente, no tengo nada negativo que expresar con respecto a ello. El ambiente, estuvo bastante acorde a toda la trama. Y por su parte, lo que más impacto trajo consigo la filmación fueron los pensamientos que sin duda fueron muy conisderados y súper poderosos, entre ellos resalto; "Si tienes un sueño tienes que protegerlo. Las personas que no son capaces de hacer algo te dirán que tú tampoco puedes. Si quieres algo ve a por ello y punto" Y para cerrar, tienes que ver el final, lloré de tanta alegría.
Finally, it is a feature film full of many scenes to reflect on, the main character is a clear example of overcoming and courage. So, if you haven't seen it, I invite you to enjoy it with your family, and let yourself be carried away by the emotions. Finally, based on my experience I give it a score of 5/5, Thank you for making it this far, movie buff! Blessings.
Finalmente, es un largometraje lleno de muchas escenas para reflexionar, el personaje principal es un claro ejemplo de superación y valor. Así que, si no las visto, te invito a que lo disfrutes junto a tu familia, y te dejes llevar por las emociones. Por último, en base a mi experiencia le doy una puntuación de 5/5, ¡Gracias por llegar hasta aquí aficionado del cine! Bendiciones.
