Hello 💙
The Minions those creatures that many love and others hate because they seem annoying, I am more of those who love them, and this second installment of the Minions which in turn is a prequel to the original animated trilogy, perfectly fulfills its mission to entertain, and present part of the origin of Gru as a villain, taking his first steps, that if the film has a clear focus on the Minions after all this is his movie, the animation in comparison to the first one has not really changed much, only certain details are noticed a little more the hair of the characters but otherwise remains the same, the music goes very well with the time that covers this film and has clear references to pop culture, which at times makes me wonder if it is a movie for children but with obvious references to adults.
Many will wonder if this is better than the first, and the reality is that no, the first Minions movie, and the first two Gru movies are a jewel, but it happens the same as with the third installment of Gru complies with being a good continuation, entertaining with good enough moments to enjoy it, but the touch of warmth that his previous movies had here is conspicuous by its absence, the truth is that it almost does not exist, and it is a film that is based on having one joke after another, this can be a little boring for some, but for others who just want to go to enjoy a movie it falls like a ring to the finger especially if they have small children.
In conclusion it is not better than the first one, but they show part of the origin of Gru and also that thanks to the success of this movie, there will be a fourth installment of Gru, which I think is amazing, the movie can be liked as something more relaxed to go to the movies, it is not a deep story with big twists in the plot, it is a weekend movie to watch with the family.
