Hello everyone, dear Movies and TV Shows community. This time, I want to share a review of an animated movie I saw a few days ago with my nephew, and I swear, I finished with a goofy grin on my face, feeling much more connected than I ever thought I would. The whole plot is basically Gru's origin story. We see him as a kid, about 12 years old with incredible hair and a single obsession in life: to become the world's greatest supervillain. His idols are a supergroup of villains called the "Vicious Six," and his dream is to join their team. It's like the typical kid who wants to be an astronaut or a rock star, but, you know, for evil. Things get good when he lands an interview with them, which obviously goes to hell, and he ends up stealing a super important mystical stone they were after. This stone is supposed to give you immense power, so, out of nowhere, this little kid becomes public enemy number one to the most dangerous guys on the planet.

And, of course, he's not alone; he has his Minions. Here, to be honest, I was a bit worried I was already sick of the Minions. They're everywhere, right? On lunchboxes, in commercials... you know what I mean. I thought their gimmick, their whole vibe, had worn out, but not at all. How wrong I was! The movie absolutely nails their charm. The physical comedy is top-notch; those timeless falls and bumps work wonderfully. They have a chaotic and pure energy that, I don't know, just rubs off on you. But what really killed me, and what this movie highlights incredibly well, are their voices.

Pierre Coffin, the genius who voices all of them, is a master. That language they invented, which sounds like a mix of Italian, Spanish, and ten other languages, yet somehow, you understand every single emotion perfectly, creates a brutal tenderness and empathy. When they mess up, which is all the time, their clumsiness is just... funny, but in a good way. There's no malice; you don't laugh at them for being dumb; you laugh with them because their super sincere and chaotic attempts to help are adorable. They inject you with a dose of pure, unadulterated joy.

Hola a todos, querida comunidad de Movies and TV Shows, en esta ocasión les quiero compartir una reseña de una película animada, hace unos días la ví con mi sobrino, y juro, termine con una sonrisa de idiota, sintiéndome mucho más conectado de lo que jamás pensé, toda la trama es, básicamente, la historia de origen de Gru.. lo vemos de niño, con unos 12 años y un cabello increíble y con una sola obsesión en la vida: convertirse en el supervillano más grande del mundo, sus ídolos son un grupazo de villanos llamados los "Vicious Six", y su sueño es entrar a su equipo, es como el típico niño que quiere ser astronauta o estrella de rock pero, pues, para el mal. La cosa se pone buena cuando consigue una entrevista con ellos, que obviamente le sale para el carajo, y termina robándoles una piedra mística súper importante que ellos andaban buscando, esta piedra, se supone, te da un poder inmenso, así que, de la nada, este chamaquito se convierte en el enemigo público número uno de los tipos más peligrosos del planeta.
Y, por supuesto, no está solo, tiene a sus Minions, aquí, si les soy sincero, me preocupaba un poco el ya estar harto de los Minions. Están hasta en la sopa, ¿no? En las loncheras, en los comerciales... ustedes me entiendan.. pensé que su chiste, su onda, ya se había gastado, pero nada que ver, ¡qué equivocado estaba! La película clava perfecto su encanto.. el humor físico es de primera, esas caídas y golpes de toda la vida funcionan de maravilla, tienen una energía caótica y pura que, no sé, se te pega, pero lo que de verdad me mató, y lo que esta peli resalta increíblemente bien, son sus voces.
Pierre Coffin, el genio que hace las voces de todos, es un crack.. ese idioma que se inventaron, que suena como a italiano con español y otros diez idiomas, pero de alguna manera, les entiendes cada emoción a la perfección, esto crea una ternura y una empatía brutal. Cuando la riegan, que es a cada rato, su torpeza simplemente... te da risa, pero de la buena.. no hay maldad, no te ríes de ellos por tontos; te ríes con ellos porque sus intentos súper sinceros y caóticos por ayudar son adorables.. te inyectan una dosis de alegría pura, sin más.

But hold on, here's what really blew my mind: the movie is GORGEOUS. I don't mean just "oh, the animation looks nice," no, no, no. The direction, the people who put this all together, you can tell they knew exactly what they were doing. You can feel the confidence in every scene, how they manage the pacing in the action sequences, the cuts... everything is super dynamic, it keeps you on the edge of your seat, it's pure energy. You start to think about all the work behind it, directing an army of animators to create such a coherent and vibrant world, and honestly, it blows your mind. The cinematography and lighting, in particular, are on another level, folks.

The movie is set in the 70s, and they fully dive into that vibe with the colors, architecture, and overall atmosphere. There's this warm, almost golden glow in a lot of scenes that just captivates you, it draws your eye. It makes the characters, even the ones who are supposed to be the "bad guys," look super lovable. It's that lighting that makes everything feel magical and adorable. The heart of the movie, for me, is Gru. Because yes, the Minions are the chaos and the comedy, but Gru is the one who tugs at your heartstrings. In English, Steve Carell's voice work is a masterpiece.

He gives him that slightly strange, Eastern European-like accent, but underneath it all, he brings a warmth to the character that feels incredibly genuine. You connect with this lonely kid whose only desire is to be accepted, even if it's by a group of villains. There's a vulnerability to his dream that's very easy to understand. He's not just a caricature of a bad guy; he's a kid trying to find his place in the world, and the performance conveys that perfectly. You want him to succeed, and I don't mean by becoming the best villain, but by finding his people, his family, who obviously end up being these little yellow creatures who adore him unconditionally.

Pero a ver, aquí viene lo que de verdad me voló la cabeza: la película es PRECIOSA.. no les digo de que "ah, qué bonita se ve la animación", no, no, no, la dirección, la gente que armó todo esto, se nota que sabían perfecto lo que hacían, se siente la confianza en cada escena, cómo manejan el ritmo en las partes de acción, los cortes... todo es súper dinámico, te mantiene al filo del asiento, es pura energía.. te pones a pensar en todo el trabajo que hay detrás, en dirigir a un ejército de animadores para crear un mundo tan coherente y tan vivo, y la verdad, te explota el cerebro, la fotografía y la luz, en particular, están en otra liga, gente. La peli pasa en los 70, y se meten de lleno en esa onda con los colores, la arquitectura y todo el ambiente, hay como un brillo cálido, casi dorado, en un montón de escenas que simplemente te atrapa, te jala la mirada.
Hace que los personajes, incluso los que se supone que son los "malos", se vean súper queribles.. es esa luz que hace que todo se sienta mágico y adorable, el corazón de la película, para mí, es Gru. Porque sí, los Minions son el desmadre y la comedia, pero Gru es el que te toca la fibra sensible.. en inglés, la voz de Steve Carell es una maestría, le pone ese acento medio raro, como de Europa del Este, pero debajo de todo eso, le mete un cariño al personaje que se siente súper genuino. Conectas con este niño solitario que lo único que quiere es que lo acepten, así sea en un grupo de villanos.. hay una vulnerabilidad en su sueño que es muy fácil de entender, no es solo la caricatura de un tipo malo; es un niño tratando de encontrar su lugar en el mundo, y la actuación te lo transmite perfecto. Quieres que le vaya bien, y no me refiero a que se convierta en el mejor villano, sino a que encuentre a su gente, a su familia, que obviamente terminan siendo estas criaturitas amarin condiciones.

Now, the movie isn't perfect, none are, and there were a couple of things that, honestly, did throw me off. I saw it dubbed in Spanish, and although most of the voices are incredible, there was one that really grated on me. The voice of the Vicious Six's leader... it was super overacted, completely exaggerated. I felt like the actress was trying way too hard to sound "evil" and "menacing," and it ended up sounding like a shrill caricature. Every time she spoke, it kind of broke the magic for me. It's a small detail, I know, but in a film where the voice work is so well-cared for, this one really stuck out. The other point, which for me is the bigger complaint, is how they split the story.

On one hand, you have Gru's main adventure, trying to beat the Vicious Six and keep the stone, and that plotline works like a charm. It's clear, to the point, and has heart. But then there's the Minions' plot. They get separated from Gru, and their mission to rescue him gets complicated in a way that... I don't know if it was necessary, really. This leads them to a whole kung fu subplot. And look... don't get me wrong, it's fun. Watching the Minions learn kung fu from an acupuncturist in Chinatown is hilarious. The training scenes are great, and the result is super entertaining. But did it feel a bit shoehorned in? Well, yeah, a little. It felt like a detour that, although you enjoy it, makes the middle of the movie feel somewhat disconnected. It's as if they had two really cool ideas, one for a Minions short and another for Gru's movie, and they just forcibly glued them together. It doesn't ruin the film, not at all, but it does leave you wondering if there wasn't a more organic way to tell the story. It's a point that, if you start to analyze it, gives you a lot to talk about.

Ojo, la peli no es perfecta, ninguna lo es, y hubo un par de cositas que, la neta, sí me sacaron de onda. Yo la vi doblada al español y, aunque la mayoría de las voces están increíbles, hubo una que de verdad me hizo un buen de ruido. La voz de la jefa de los Vicious Six... estaba súper sobreactuada, súper exagerada, sentí que la actriz le echó demasiadas ganas para sonar "malvada" y "amenazante", y al final quedó como una caricatura toda chillona. Cada vez que hablaba, como que me rompía la magia.. es un detallito, yo sé, pero en una película donde las voces están tan bien cuidadas, esta desentonaba un montón, el otro punto, que para mí es la queja más grande, es cómo parten la historia.
Por un lado, tienes la aventura principal de Gru, tratando de ganarle a los Vicious Six y quedarse con la piedra, y esa trama funciona de huevos, es clara, va al grano y tiene corazón..pero luego está la trama de los Minions. Se separan de Gru, y su misión de ir a rescatarlo se complica de una forma que... no sé si era necesaria, la verdad, esto los lleva a toda una subtrama de kung fu.. y a ver... no me malentiendan, está divertida. Ver a los Minions aprendiendo kung fu de una acupunturista en el Barrio Chino es que te cagas de la risa, las escenas de entrenamiento son geniales y el resultado es súper entretenido. Pero, ¿se sintió medio sacado de la manga? Pues sí, un poco.. se sintió como un desvío que, aunque lo disfrutas, hace que la mitad de la película se sienta medio desconectada, es como si hubieran tenido dos ideas muy chidas, una para un corto de los Minions y otra para la peli de Gru, y nomás las hubieran pegado a la fuerza. No arruina la película, para nada, pero sí te deja pensando si no había una forma más orgánica de contar la historia.. es un punto que, si te pones a analizarlo, da para hablar un buen rato.

But you know what? The movie moves so fast, it has so much energy, that you don't have time to stop and think about whether the story makes sense or not. It just pulls you in, carries you along, and it's a hilarious ride, truly. Is it predictable for adults? Of course, absolutely! You know what's going to happen from the first minute, but that's not the point, you know? This film knows exactly what it is and who it's for. It's made for kids to have an amazing time, but it has so much smart humor, looks so beautiful, and has so much heart that adults can enjoy it a ton too. It's the perfect family plan, one of those where nobody is just tolerating it for someone else's sake. At the end of the day, it's a super positive, super enjoyable experience. It's one of those movies that doesn't ask you to think too much or be super invested; you just sit back, relax, and let the bright colors and jokes brighten your day. It far exceeded my expectations because it reminded me that a kids' movie can still be a gem of animation, direction, and comedy. It has soul, it really has soul.

So, for my final score... I give it a very, very solid 8.5/10. I'm knocking off a point for that Minions storyline that's a bit on its own and for that one voice in the dub that I really disliked, but it earns every single one of those 8.5 points with its incredible animation, that perfect mix of laughter and feeling, Steve Carell's voice (in English) which is a delight, and that infectious joy of the Minions that, man, just rubs off on you. It's a movie made with a lot of love and by people who know what they're doing. Seriously, if you're on the fence or just want to watch something that will make you smile, go see it. Pero ¿saben qué? La película va tan rápido, tiene tanta energía, que no te da tiempo de ponerte a pensar si la historia tiene lógica o no, te jala, te lleva con ella, y es un viaje divertidísimo, de verdad.. que si es predecible para los adultos? ¡Claro que sí, por supuesto! Sabes qué va a pasar desde el minuto uno, pero ese no es el chiste, ¿saben? Esta película sabe perfecto lo que es y a quién le habla, está hecha para que los niños se la pasen increíble, pero tiene tanto humor inteligente, se ve tan bonita y tiene tanto corazón, que los adultos también la disfrutamos un montón.. es el plan familiar perfecto, de esos en los que nadie se está aguantando por hacerle el paro al otro, al final del día, es una experiencia súper positiva, súper disfrutable.. es de esas pelis que no te piden que le pienses mucho o que estés súper clavado, nomás te sientas, te relajas y dejas que los colores brillantes y los chistes te alegren el rato.. superó por mucho lo que esperaba, porque me acordó que una peli para niños todavía puede ser una joya de animación, de dirección y de comedia, tiene alma, de verdad tiene alma.
Así que, para mi calificación final... yo le doy un muy, muy sólido 8.5/10. Le quito un punto por esa historia de los Minions que anda medio por su lado y por esa voz del doblaje que no me gustó para nada, pero se gana a pulso cada uno de esos 8.5 puntos con su animación increíble, esa mezcla perfecta de risas y sentimiento, la voz de Steve Carell (en inglés) que es una chulada, y esa alegría de los Minions que, no manches, se te pega. Es una peli hecha con un montón de cariño y con gente que sabe lo que hace.. en serio, si andan dudando o nomás quieren ver algo que les saque una sonrisa, láncense a verla, es pura diversión, caótica y hermosa.. ya me contarán ustedes en los comentarios qué tal, qué les pareció.. y bueno, hasta aquí la reseña de hoy, cuidense mucho! The soundtrack is nice, it has a good inclusion within the film and that's something I like about this franchise, the very natural way in which they include the musical tracks in the plot making it not only feel commensurate but also adapt perfectly.

The animation presents a usual color palette for the saga, it is pleasant the tones they use to make each moment of the film feel alive since these tonalities go hand in hand with a wonderful fluidity.

The world building focuses on exploring everything related to the villains and the field in which they operate, having an atmosphere that tries to expose even more what has already been previously presented. Apart from that, the context is the same as its predecessors because it does not go beyond what was mentioned above.

The plot is still exactly the same as what we are used to and it is absurd humor at its best, eccentric and quirky things, and, in general, a silly comedy that is very pleasant. As expected, the premise that moves the plot is something basic, transforming a simple conflict into something complex and that will lead them to have a whole new range of problems, it is not pretentious or tries to put on the table some deep issue, it only seeks to raise and develop its style of comedy.

La trama sigue siendo exactamente lo mismo de lo que nos tienen acostumbrados y es el humor absurdo en su máxima expresión, cosas excéntricas y estrafalarias, y, en general, una comedia tonta que es muy agradable. Como es de esperarse la premisa que mueve la trama es algo básico, transformando un conflicto sencillo en algo complejo y que los llevara a tener todo un nuevo abanico de problemas, no es pretenciosa ni intenta poner sobre la mesa algún tema profundo, solo busca plantear y desarrollar su estilo de comedia.

The characters are the same as always, villains who are bad just because, a protagonist who gets involved with them in one way or another and ends up going wrong, the minions being completely retarded and absurd, is all the package you can expect when you talk about this franchise. What I can highlight is the fact that they add one or another element to make it feel with a certain air that differentiates it from its predecessors.

Los personajes son lo mismo de siempre, villanos que son malos solo porque sí, un protagonista que se involucra con ellos de una u otra forma y termina saliendo mal, los minions siendo completamente retardados y absurdos, es todo el paquete que te puedas esperar cuando hablas de esta franquicia. Lo que puedo destacar es el hecho de que agregan uno que otro elemento para que se sienta con cierto aire que lo diferencia de sus predecesoras.

Minions: The Rise of Gru is what we are used to this franchise, he dedicates his time to make good absurd comedy that is the main attraction of the film and that he achieves in a good way. That is why it deserves 3.5 stars out of 7, it is part of that group of films that appeal for the fact of getting a laugh from the viewer and manages to get away with it by managing to do it without problems.

Minions: The Rise of Gru es a lo que nos tiene acostumbrados esta franquicia, dedica su tiempo a hacer buena comedia absurda que es el principal atractivo del filme y que logra de buena forma. Es por ello que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, forma parte de ese grupo de películas que apelan por el hecho de sacarle una carcajada al espectador y logra salirse con la suya al lograr hacerlo sin problemas.

Saludos a toda la Comunidad Hive, hoy les traigo una película de Comedia Animada para chicos y grandes, producida por Ilumination y distribuida por Universal Pictures, dirigida por KYLE BALDA, se trata de MINIONS: THE RISE OF GRU 2022.

¿De qué trata?

Es la historia de un niño de 13 años llamado Gru, quien vivía con su mama y unos amiguitos llamados Minions a quien adopto para crear una guarida y hacer el mal, Gru creció admirando a los salvajes 6 en especial a Willy Cobra, en un intento por ser aceptado en el grupo de los 6, robo el Medallón, allí comienza la acción de los 6 por tratar de recuperarlo, lo demás no se los cuento, en verdad vale la pena verla.

Que puedo decir me encantan los MINIONS son muy tiernos y divertidos y esta vez se lucieron Kevin, Stuart y Bob haciendo muestras de haber aprendido Kung Fu, y dígame el relajado de Otto cambio el Medallón por una piedra, me encanto el recorrido que hizo en el triciclo para alcanzar al hombre de la moto que llevaba el Medallón, es que son muy emocionales, Ellos son los verdaderos protagonistas de la película y Gru tratando de ser aceptado en el grupo de los salvajes 6, lo único que nunca me ha gustado es el trato que siempre le da dado la mama, nunca lo ha tomado en cuenta, no lo ha valorado y quizás por eso se ha inclinado a tratar de hacer cosas malas, pero en realidad es un amor, me encanto haber conocido el inicio del Dr. Nefario, verlo joven o sea que permaneció muchos años con Gru. Una de las escenas favorita fue la transformación de los Salvajes 6 a través del poder del Medallón. Bueno amigos se las recomiendo es muy Entretenida y Emotiva. Me enamore de Bob el Minions con heterocromia y su osito. Coménteme si les gusto y si no también, Besos y Abrazos.

This movie has a touch is special, having new characters and knowing that being a villain is the best, where they play a very fundamental role in everyone's life. Saludos amantes del cine. Ya han pasado varias semanas desde que fue estrenada otra película de los Minions, las anteriores han sido muy buenas, siempre he disfrutado, reído mucho al verlas y por su supuesto es ideal para compartir con los amigos y familia este tipo de películas animadas. Esta es conocida Minions: Nace un villano, es todo un éxito, quizás muchos ya la han visto y cada uno tendrá su punto de vista al respecto. Algo que me llamo mucho la atención es ese valor que tienen de luchar hasta el final para encontrar y hacer lo que más los apasiona y lo más importante no dejarse llevar por los demás. Es una película dirigida para todas las edades, en especial para los niños.

En mi caso he tenido la oportunidad de ver todas las películas de Minions, donde cada una tiene un toque y una perspectiva distinta, sin embargo, siguen siendo los mismos Minions, graciosos, con una personalidad única y siempre haciendo sus mejores chistes para uno reírse y pasar un rato agradable. Esta película tiene un toque es especial, tener nuevos personajes y saber que ser un villano es lo mejor, donde juegan un papel muy fundamental para la vida de todos. Cuando la vi por primera vez me gustó mucho, es muy entretenida, tiene un buen mensaje, los personajes son únicos, todas las aventuras por las que pasan y lo importante para mí es que siempre te mantiene con ese suspenso de que sucederá en el transcurso de la película.

Eso no lo pensé al principio, sino a medida que veía la película, ya que lo único que hacía era reírme de todas las locuras.

Quizás el tema de los villanos resulte un poco complicado de entender y es aquí donde entran los Minions, por el hecho de que su participación en la película es lo máximo, le dan un enfoque más sencillo y es una manera de captar más la atención de los niños por ser una película animada y una manera de que entiendan su mensaje de una forma divertida, ya que es una historia un poco profunda. Eso fue lo que me paso a mí, decidí ver la película para saber que iban a hacer los Minions más allá de ser el mejor villano. Se necesita de un poco de concentración, ya que note que saltan de un tema a otro y uno queda un poco perdido.

Lo bueno de esta película es que es muy divertida, da mucha risa todo el tiempo desde que empieza hasta el final, te aseguro que te vas a reír por todo lo que hacen, quizá algunos chistes no serán buenos para todos, no los entenderán como otros sí. Además, el apoyo, el trabajo en equipo es de gran importancia, porque así nunca podrás surgir y ser el mejor, es aquí donde se notan los valores como la humildad, el respeto y la sinceridad.

Hola hive, Ayer tuve la oportunidad de ver una película que ha sido la sensación en estos últimos días y quise echarle un vistazo a ver que tal, no me quería quedar fuera de la conversación por esta razón hoy les vengo hablar sobre nada más y nada menos que… Minions: The Rise Of Gru

Minions: The Rise Of Gru es una película Lanzada en el 2022 producida por illumination y es la secuela de Minions del 2015 que a su vez son precuelas de Despicable Me (Mi Villano Favorita), la película está dirigida por Kyle Balda y protagonizada por la voz del Steve Carrel.

Esta película nos muestra a un pequeño Gru que tiene un sueño muy claro, convertirse en un gran villano y formar parte de Los villanos más peligrosos del planeta, sin embargo cuando estos los rechazan decide demostrarle que es capaz de hacer cosas igual de malvadas que ellos.

Como notaron aunque es una película de minions la trama no gira alrededor de estos sino de nuestro protagonista Gru (algo que para mi es un punto a favor), sin embargo sacar un trama de la película es tan complicado porque pasan demasiadas cosas en la película en un lapso de tiempo bastante corto, algunas cierran y otras algunas nos tanto, pero nada que nuestros minions no resuelvan con un par de chistes.

Yo mas que decir que esta película tiene una trama diría que es un conjunto de sketches de los minions guiados por un pequeño hilo que podemos considerar como trama, y la verdad esto no me molesta para nada, siento que es el mejor camino que pueden tomar para estos personajes amarillos, porque se me hace muy difícil imaginar una película de minions que nos deje con un aprendizaje filosófico y si eso es lo que estás buscando tenlo por seguro que no lo vas a encontrar

En mi opinión minions the rise of Gru es mucho mejor que minions (2015), pero… por que?, pues simplemente porque the rise of Gru tiene un objetivo claro y es ser Random y generar situaciones graciosas así estás no complementen a la trama y lo peor de esto es que podemos decir que funciona, prefiero mil veces algo así a que intenten crear una historia como minions (2015) la cual me terminó aburriendo en menos de 20 min.

Minions the rise of gru es una película totalmente de comedia (específicamente slapstick), si estás totalmente claro de esto creo que es una película que llega a entretener, no llega a ser aburrida porque la película en ningún momento se detiene, es una cosa detrás de otra y así por 1 hora y 20 min y considero que esta bien.

Ya para mi es un logro de que esta película haya superado (o por lo menos en mi opinión) a minions del 2015, y bueno, the rise of gru fue exactamente lo que esperaba, no me sorprendió ni para bien pero tampoco para mal, es una película que tiene una buena animación, uno que otro momento gracioso y unos personajes adorables, porque si, hay algo que no se le puede quitar a los minions y es que son adorables, no por nada son han sido la sensacion. En cuanto El personaje de gru está bastante bueno, se siente tierno pero a la vez malvado entonces si logran ese equilibrio de ser un niño pero ser ambisioso y querer pertenecer a los villanos más grandes del mundo y demostrando que es capaz.

Me parece bastante cool la secuencia en donde gru se hace amigo de la persona que más admira, ambos se apoyan y en el momento donde su héroe toca fondo, gru hace lo posible para poder sacarlo de ahí.

La película tiene momentos bonitos, momentos cómicos y momentos que podrían mejorar, minions the rise of Gru como dije anteriormente es un conjunto de sketches y ya, no es una película innovadora pero tampoco busca serlo. En conclusión sino tienes más nada que hacer, porque no ver 1 hora y 20 min de minions?

As you noticed although it is a minions movie the plot does not revolve around them but around our main character Gru (something that for me is a plus), however getting a plot out of the movie is so complicated because too many things happen in the movie in a fairly short period of time, some close and some not so much, but nothing that our minions do not solve with a couple of jokes.

Rather than saying that this movie has a plot I would say that it is a set of sketches of the minions guided by a small thread that we can consider as a plot, and the truth is that this does not bother me at all, I feel it is the best way to take for these yellow characters, because it is very difficult to imagine a minions movie that leaves us with a philosophical learning and if that is what you are looking for be sure that you are not going to find it.

I have never considered myself a passionate fan of the Minions, I had the opportunity to see the first Despicable Me movie a couple of years ago in theaters and after that time I have not spent much time thinking about the franchise, as with most The films I watch (whether to review it or not) seem to me very important to understand what their objective is when evaluating their own quality, a logic that sounds obvious but that we often forget completely.

Although Rise of Gru is another film in a series that clearly did not need more sequels (Or prequels) it is also blessed by a context where it seems that the common public, or at least the majority, has left the pedantism behind in terms of enjoying a movie that doesn't aim for much more than an hour and a half of superficial fun.

It would be unfair not to recognize the merit that Despicable Me had more than 12 years ago, not only for maintaining an interesting premise where the villains took a leading role in a light animated comedy, but also for introducing us to one of the most iconic creatures (E intentionally irritating) of modern popular culture: The Minions.

Ironically, the initial hatred for these yellow creatures in blue overalls ended up maturing over the years, resulting in an effective source of silly humor, but much more aggressive and dark than expected.

If I had to highlight a positive aspect of Minions: The Rise of Gru, I would say that it is the evident comfort that he feels with his own existence, leading us to a simple but charismatic story where his characters can shine without much problem.

Illumination is not the animation studio to which we go looking for thematic complexity, it appeals to the lowest common denominator and although it is visually correct there is nothing particularly experimental in the artistic plane, however, there is a fairly high level of efficiency in the execution of each one of its good aspects.

It's mediocre, of course, but knows how to handle it gracefully.

Nunca me he considerado un seguidor apasionado de los Minions, tuve la oportunidad de ver la primera parte de Despicable Me hace un par de años en cines y luego de ese momento no he dedicado mucho tiempo a pensar en la franquicia, como con la mayoría de las películas que observo (Ya sea para reseñar o no) me parece importantísimo entender cuál es su objetivo al momento de evaluar su propia calidad, una lógica que suena obvia pero que muchas veces olvidamos completamente.

Aunque Rise of Gru es otro filme más dentro de una serie de películas que claramente no necesitaba más secuelas (O precuelas) también se encuentra bendecido por un contexto en dónde pareciera que el público común, o al menos la mayoría, ha dejado atrás el pedantismo en función de disfrutar una película que no pretende mucho más allá que una hora y media de diversión superficial.

Sería injusto no reconocer el mérito que tuvo Despicable Me hace más de 12 años, no solo por mantener una premisa interesante en dónde los villanos tomaban un rol protagonico dentro de una ligera comedia animada, sino por presentarnos a una de las criaturas más icónicas (E irritantes intencionalmente) de la cultura popular moderna: Los Minions.

Irónicamente, el odio inicial que despertaban estás criaturas amarillas en overalls azules terminó madurando con el paso de los años, resultando en una efectiva fuente de un humor tonto, pero mucho más agresivo y oscuro de lo esperado.

Si tuviese que resaltar un aspecto positivo de Minions: Rise of Gru, diría que es la evidente comodidad que siente con su propia existencia, llevándonos a una historia sencilla pero carismática en dónde sus personajes pueden brillar sin mayor problema.

Illumination no es el estudio de animación al que acudimos buscando complejidad temática, apela al mínimo común denominador y aunque visualmente es correcto no existe nada particularmente experimental en el plano artístico, no obstante, hay un nivel de eficiencia bastante alto en la ejecución de cada uno de sus aspectos.

Es mediocre, por supuesto, pero sabe manejarlo con gracia.

Para nosotros Minions es una franquicia especial, la primera vez que fuimos al cine, mi esposa y yo fue a ver Minions (2015), así es, nuestra primera cita en el cine no fue a ver una película de terror en donde pudiera abrazarle ofreciéndole protección, fue una película infantil, en ese momento era la única película disponible, sin embargo, fue un momento divertido. Ahora, así como lo publicó @francysfiore hace unos días pudimos ver Minions: Nace un Villano junto a nuestra hija, siendo su segunda película que ve en su totalidad en el cine junto a nosotros.

Esta es una película familiar, dirigida hacia los más pequeños, por lo cual es mucho mejor verla en familia y esperar a que los niños la disfruten, en nuestro caso, a Camila le gustó, ya que pudo quedarse sentada en su asiento por la hora y media de metraje (algo sorprendente), sin embargo, me parece apropiado mostrar mi opinión sobre este filme que sin dudas hace que vayamos al cine en familia, puesto que sentimos confianza en que estos divertidos personajes dibujen una sonrisa en nuestro rostro.

Análisis de la Película

Uno de los aspectos que sin duda son más llamativos en esta franquicia desde sus inicios es todo el valor que se impone a los villanos, como una profesión y una organización relativamente escondida en las sombras, sus propios bancos, canal de televisión y muchas otras cosas hacen colocar a la organización de los villanos como una especie de contexto parecido al de una carrera profesional.

Es una película para niños y el objetivo es entretenerlos a ellos, lo que muchos críticos esperan es que una película divierta a tanto los más pequeños como a los más grandes con una historia profunda y envolvente, es un aspecto que no se cumple en gran parte de las películas y veo malos comentarios al respecto, sin embargo, si los niños se entretienen como lo fue en el caso de mi hija, la película es un éxito, si a los adultos nos parece entretenida y soltamos alguna carcajada con alguna escena es un extra que nos regala el filme, pero en realidad no somos su público objetivo.

Para los espectadores que desean comedia muy elaborada no creo que el filme les parezca gracioso, evidentemente el filme se encamina más hacia una comedia absurda y de muy fácil comprensión, utilizando por momentos el dolor físico para hacernos reír.

Mi opinión es que esa combinación con Gru u Minions resulta una mejor fórmula que ver a la Minions solamente en la película, sobre todo ese contexto sobre los villanos que me agrada tanto, eso ha funcionado en esta franquicia y si este film resulta exitoso desde un punto de vista económico posiblemente se siga construyendo la historia de Gru junto a los Minions como precuela de la primera película Mi Villano Favorito.

Los Minions esas criaturas que muchos aman y otros odian porque les parecen molestas, yo soy más de lo que las ama, y esta segunda entrega de los Minions que a su vez es precuela de la trilogía animada original, cumple perfectamente con su cometido de entretener, y presentarnos parte del origen de Gru como villano, dando sus primeros pasos, eso si la película tiene un enfoque claro hacia los Minions despues de todo esta es su película, la animación en comparación a la primera la verdad no ha cambiado mucho, solo se notan un poco mas ciertos detalles el cabello de los personajes pero de resto permanece igual, la música se acompaña muy bien con la época que abarca esta película y tiene claras referencias a la cultura pop, que por momentos me hace preguntarme si es una película para niños pero con referencias evidentes para los adultos.

En conclusión no llega a ser mejor que la primera, pero muestran parte del origen de Gru y también que gracias al éxito que tiene esta película, saldrá una cuarta entrega de Gru, o lo cual creo que es increíble, la película puede gustar como algo mas relajado para ir a ver al cine, no es una historia profunda con grandes giros en la trama, es una película de fin de semana para ver en familia.

Esta película salió hace poco y yo no sabía de su existencia hasta que tick tock me recomendó unos cortos de la canción de los minions ahí fue donde me anime a verla, cabe de decir que en su momentos hace varios años a pesar de que no me gustaron como las dos primeras si disfrute “Mi Villano Favorito 3” y “Los Minions” asi que no iba con mucha expectativa a ver esta precuela de Gru siendo un niño, por eso cuando la vi disfrute mucho fue de reír y sentirme como una niña de nuevo a pesar de que esta película es un poco absurda. La historia va de Gru pequeño en los años 70, quien como todo niño admira a gente grande, él admiraba a “los salvajes 6” quien son el grupo de supervillanos más grandes del momento, entonces hacen audición cuando estos se deshacen de Willi Cobra que era el líder pero más viejo del grupo, entonces Gru va pero este no es tomado enserio por ser un niño, aquí empieza la maravillosa y rara aventura de la película, donde en realidad a mi parecer quienes se lleva la mayor parte del crédito que la película no se vuelva tediosa y aburrida llegan a ser los minions quienes destacan por su simpatía y rareza en cada película.

Nace un villano, no es la mejor película de todas la del mundo de mi villano favorito, pero si fue mucho mejor de lo que esperaba, no nos la podemos tomar enserio y esa era la idea, entretener, me morí de risa viéndola y me divertido. Es una película 100% dirigida al público infantil pero la familia también la puede disfrutar (mas cuando hemos visto todas las anteriores) no nos deja una lección de vida pero es que ese no era su objetivo, algo que puedo destacar es que a pesar de que los minions siempre son los que se llevan nuestra atención, la película es de Gru uno que se me hizo muy tierno ya que a pesar de ser malo sigue siendo un niño, que quiere conocer a sus ídolos y quien cometes pendejadas, Willi cobra por otro lado es el personaje que me gusto no por ser villano si no por lo que demuestra, tal vez si nos hace pensar un poco de que se siente cuando te echan de lado por la idea o ya no te respetan.

Me gusto la aparición del Dr.nefario y también lo que llegan a decir al final “Apunta a la luna” que es su objetivo en la primera película y la cual renuncio por sus hijas, así que es ese guiño de los que te hacen gritar de la emoción, sin duda los minions 2: nace un villano es mucho mejor de lo que espere y te hace reír mucho, se las recomiendo si quieren pasar un rato de calidad con los niños de la casa y con ustedes del pasado a ver de nuevos a los minions y recordar un poco la infancia, gracias por leerme.
