When I was younger one of my favorite actors was Adam Sandler, I could spend whole days watching his comedy movies, because they were simple but very funny and clever, however just as the years passed for me also passed for the career of a man who was once one of my favorite actors. Now everything he does seems garbage, grotesque and ridiculous to me, all his films are made with offensive and extremely tedious clichés where he tries in a very brusque way to make people laugh through silly scenes. For me, there is a before and after in this actor's career, a borderline that separates his good work, with his decadent performances and that line is called Grown ups.

I don't want to insinuate that Grown ups is a perfect movie, because it isn't, but it is a fun movie full of memorable moments where we remember the best stage of a great actor, an actor who undoubtedly contributed a lot to the comedy genre that got consolidated in Hollywood and part thanks to his work and his films. Grown ups is a simple movie, developed in a friendly environment where there are no crazy turns or excessive dramas, this movie was made to make you laugh and that's what makes us laugh.

Through these children, we see a very well-created critical metaphor that lets us know that many times we must somehow force our children to forget their electronic devices and go out and enjoy more of what nature and the outside world has to offer. This is undoubtedly a very funny film, very light and has very good critical contrasts that are exposed in a wonderful way so that they do not take over the whole plot and make it excessively intense.
