| Como me gustó la temática del nuevo concurso en la comunidad, necesitaba compartir con ustedes una serie que me ví en 2 días, y me recordó mucho a mi infancia cuando nos reuníamos los primos en casa de mi abuela, y esa era la ocasión perfecta para que los mayores asustaran a los más pequeños con historias de terror. Esta serie tiene algo de eso, pero con narradores muchísimo más experimentados y cuyas historias parecen sacadas de la serie popular "Black Mirror". Pero para no hacer más larga la introducción, hoy hablaremos de: "Midnight club". | Since I liked the theme of the new contest in the community, I needed to share with you a series that I watched in 2 days, and it reminded me a lot of my childhood when we cousins would get together at my grandmother's house, and that was the perfect occasion for the older ones to scare the younger ones with horror stories. 8 chicos con una enfermedad terminal, deciden pasar sus últimos días recluidos en un hospicio llamado "Brightcliffe", dónde pueden acompañarse unos con otros durante el doloroso proceso de encontrarse con la muerte. Para hacer más llevadera su realidad, deciden continuar con el "club de la medianoche", fundado por el primer grupo que vivió en la mansión.

Anya(Ruth Codd):
| Es una chica con una historia bastante fuerte y lleva con ella muchísimo arrepentimiento, por lo que manifiesta una personalidad tosca, agresiva y hasta algo hiriente, pero en el fondo es una buena amiga que se preocupa y cuida de todos. Y bueno, ya sabemos que este tipo de personajes son un imán para los espectadores, pero me gustó no porque esté de acuerdo con sus acciones groseras, sino porque llegué a empatizar mucho con su situación. Además, la actriz hizo un buen papel 😌 | She's a girl with a pretty strong history and carries a lot of regrets with her, so she manifests a rough, aggressive and even somewhat hurtful personality, but deep down she's a good friend who cares and takes care of everyone. And well, we already know that this kind of characters are a magnet for viewers, but I liked her not because I agree with her rude actions, but because I got to empathize a lot with her situation. Also, the actress played a good role 😌. |

| Ese personaje le da un toque divertido a la serie, ya que es una chica millonaria de la que no se sabe prácticamente nada, pues cada vez que le preguntan cambia su historia, es prácticamente mitomana. También me dejó una gran curiosidad, porque jamás nos contaron su historia y el por qué nadie la visitaba, pero siempre recibía regalos. | That character gives a funny touch to the series, since she is a millionaire girl about whom practically nothing is known, because every time she is asked she changes her story, she is practically a mythomaniac. It also left me very curious, because they never told us her story and why nobody visited her, but she always received gifts. |

¿Terror absoluto o drama?

La serie tiene sus momentos de suspenso, me llegó a asustar en ciertas escenas, así que tiene mucha influencia de este género, pero a la vez puede ser conmovedora. Mi esposo y yo estuvimos de acuerdo en que es una serie que vale la pena ver, y créanme que eso no es algo que pase muy seguido 😅 Nos dejó muchísimas dudas y, según leímos por ahí, van a cancelar la serie, so.... Adiós a nuestra búsqueda de respuestas 😢
La historia es interesante, a veces se puede sentir algo lenta, pero supongo que si querían otra temporada no podían contar todo de una vez, sin embargo las micro historias que se inventan los personajes son geniales. En conclusión, es una serie de suspenso dramático jeje... Si es que ese género existe 😂 |

My husband and I agreed that it's a series worth watching, and believe me that's not something that happens very often 😅 It left us with a lot of doubts and, according to what we read out there, they are going to cancel the series, so....
