Este film me tenía ansiosa, eran tantas las opiniones que se dejaban leer en internet, sobre lo inquietante y fascinante que sería la trama, que estuve a punto de verla en una página de facebook 😂 Ya saben que mucha gente graba la película en el cine y la comparte en ciertas redes sociales, pero gracias a Dios no caí en esa trampa, porque verla con esa calidad le resta mucha emoción. | Due to my daily occupations, I had not had the opportunity to share with you my impressions about the new film by director Scott Derrickson: "The Black Telephone". Let's remember that bullying is an unfortunate situation that has been dealt with in every era and this was no exception, so it becomes outrageous to see how, in addition to dealing with their personal problems, they must also experience these situations at school and to add more violence, there is a psychopath on the loose. |

A todas estas, la historia es contada desde el punto de vista y la perspectiva de los adolescentes, pues los adultos no tienen ninguna relevancia al parecer, lo que me da un aire a "Stranger things". La incompetencia de los investigadores es bastante notable, pero supongo que debía darse esta situación, para que Gwen pudiera trabajar en su relación con Dios y fuera la elegida para desenmascarar al culpable.

El famoso "teléfono negro" juega un papel importantísimo en la vida del psicópata, pero nos dejan a la imaginación el origen o el desarrollo de este personaje y para mí, representó un vacío importante en la historia. También tiene algunos detalles que no me terminaron de encajar, pero no profundizaré para evitar contarles con exactitud todo lo que pasó y puedan verla tranquilamente, sacando así sus propias conclusiones.
Quizás tenía expectativas muy altas sobre esta película y por ende me dejó una sensación extraña, pues no me decepcionó pero tampoco correspondió a lo que esperaba ver. Sin embargo la recomiendo igual, la fotografía, el ambiente estuvieron muy acertados. |

It also has some details that did not quite fit me, but I will not go into depth to avoid telling you exactly what happened and you can watch it quietly, thus drawing your own conclusions.
Perhaps I had very high expectations about this film and therefore left me with a strange feeling, because it did not disappoint me but it did not correspond to what I expected to see. However I recommend it anyway, the photography, the atmosphere were very successful. |

Las actuaciones estuvieron increíbles, creo que fué lo más resaltante de la película. Finney(Masson Thames) me transmitió mucha madurez y me causó cierta incertidumbre, Gwen(Medeleine MacGraw) tuvo demasiada presencia escénica, era fuerte pero dulce a la vez. Mi decepción fué el antagonista (Ethan Hawke), pues no tuvo mucha relevancia, en realidad poco ví su actuación.
Otra hecho que no es para nada relevante, es que el personaje de "Robin"(Miguel Mora), fué un flechazo para mí 🤭 Creo que hice Match con él, quizás era algo violento, pero se ganó mi atención jajaja... Esto fácilmente se puede convertir en un meme: |
The performances were incredible, I think it was the highlight of the movie. Finney (Masson Thames) conveyed a lot of maturity and caused me some uncertainty, Gwen (Medeleine MacGraw) had too much stage presence, she was strong but sweet at the same time. My disappointment was the antagonist (Ethan Hawke), as he didn't have much relevance, in fact I saw little of his performance.
Another fact that is not relevant at all, is that the character of "Robin"(Miguel Mora), was a crush for me 🤭 I think I made Match with him, maybe he was a bit violent, but he got my attention hahaha.... This could easily become a meme: |
| Así que, en conclusión le doy un 7/10 a esta película. Ojo, desde mi opinión, sé que para otros fué muy buena, todos tenemos pensamientos diferentes y respeto todas las ideas.
