Comencemos por su trama. Más allá de plantear un escenário irrealista, es una fuerte crítica hacía la religión, no sobre creer en Dios, sino las consecuencias de ser un fanático religioso. De verdad me sorprendió la forma en que abordaron este tema tan polémico. A pesar de que en ocasiones los diálogos se hacían algo largos, el guión estuvo excelente.
Ni hablar de las actuaciones, todos cumplieron perfectamente con la esencia de su personaje, sobretodo el padre. Ya había visto a este actor (Hamish Linklater) en otras producciones, pero este papel en particular lo interpretó maravillosamente.
Más que mostrar una Isla muerta, totalmente en quiebra, hicieron énfasis en la misera humana y la definición perfecta de estar "muertos en vida".
Las frases y situaciones de la serie te hacen reflexionar, de verdad logra ponerte a pensar sobre muchas cosas de la vida. Tiene un mensaje poderoso.
Va directo al grano. No es de estas series que le graban mil capítulos y 20 temporadas, nada que ver... Se concentra en transmitir el mensaje, sin crecar historias innecesarias o de relleno.
Buena fotografía, buenos efectos especiales y buena banda sonora.

Not to mention the performances, all of them perfectly fulfilled the essence of their character, especially the father. I had already seen this actor (Hamish Linklater) in other productions, but this particular role he played wonderfully.
Rather than showing a dead Island, totally bankrupt, they emphasized human misery and the perfect definition of being "dead in life".
The phrases and situations of the series make you reflect, it really makes you think about many things in life. It has a powerful message.
It goes straight to the point. It is not one of those series that record a thousand chapters and 20 seasons, nothing to see... It concentrates on conveying the message, without creating unnecessary stories or filler.
