MOANA (2016)
Moana is my favourite Disney movie and that is because it is a great movie which is about a very young girl whose character as a person defies her cultural prejudices and constraints, as well as her parent's constant wishes for Moana to preserve her tribe. The Disney movie shows her gradual development of courage to embark on an extremely long trek across the sea to Te Fiti for the redemption of her People.
Moana meets an interesting character called Maui who is a demi god along her way. Maui endlessly tried to get away from Moana by putting himself first, but Moana manages to establish her power and presence which further made them an unexpected travel buddies
Another reason why consider it my favourite movie is because Moana is a movie that celebrate the strength of a young woman who was determined against all the odds to grow, work hard and genuinely have good friendship.
It showed a fearless girl who was ready to risk it all for her People. It also balances eliciting tears and laughs, while showing the advantages and disadvantages of working alone or Working with a partner. Moana is a character that shows the true meaning of dignity for one's life.
The Movie shows how all the characters had a sense of belonging and showed love and affection to one another while the main character Moana was extremely important to her people as she was able to share special feelings such as fear, joy, sadness, happiness,etc with Maui despite different cultures.
Moana was very truthful for a movie, with everyone admitting to the truth, Moana's faith was successful after she was able to transform the island from a lava covered island to a green flower island. There are alot of unique characters to emulate from Moana.
Moana retains a deep sense of care, with little or no room to give up on her mission while reminiscing on her memories with her late Grandma which helped her through sad and discouraging times. The production team deserves alot of kudos for making Moana, it was very perfect and highly rated by me.I almost forgot that beautiful theme song titled "How Far I'll Go"
