Keeping in mind that I have only watched the first 3 episodes I gotta say that I feel like giving up.

The similarities in artistic styles are obvious and I didn't even read the opening credits or the description on Netflix and I knew right away that it was MG.

She flees the kingdom on the day of her arranged marriage with the assistance of her woefully naive and optimistic sidekick named Elfo and also a demon named Luci she encounters in a girt package. Her father, her husband-to-be, and their minions are constantly in pursuit of her as they seek to force her back to follow through with the arranged marriage in order to unite two kingdoms.

I don't like it because it is meant to be a comedy and with the exception of very rare moments, it just isn't.
With the thousands of choices that we have at our disposal at all times on Netflix it is extremely easy to just tune out something unless it really catches your attention. I do not feel as though Disenchantment accomplishes that goal. I kind of suffered through the 3rd episode and honestly don't think i will return to it. The ratings for this show are actually pretty average with major review websites but it wouldn't surprise me very much if a lot of the positive praise is handed out simply because it is a Matt Groening project.
I'm not going to try to say it is horrible because I have only watched a few episodes and there are 10 of them. I may skip ahead and watch the last 2 just to see if I am completely wrong. I'll report back
