Hell's Paradise Volume 4: Gabimaru discovering the Tao.

  And here we are in Volume 4! To be frank I finished already the volume 5 and ready to get the volume 6 on the library. This volume 4 is more about fighting, and the criminals and samurai are starting to learn about Tao. In this volume w, we see a new alliance, and we see Doshi, direct subordinates to Lord Tensen. Different from the giants Shoshins who don't speak, these human hybrids speak and are a bit disgusting. The tree guy Hoko also presents all the Lords Tensen on the Island and their divine association. For now, we have met Zhu Jin (Ragnant Yuanjun Tathata), who fought Gabimaru and Tenza/Shion, plus Ju Fa (Heavenly Dadi Aksho) and Tao Fa (Sagacious Dasheng Ratna, who fought the Chobei brothers. Also, we learn that each of them has a special training tactic, which includes the Bōchū Jutsu that is executed by Ju Fa and Tao Fa, which mostly improves their Tao by having sex, and elements like fire, wood, etc.

  At this point, we can imagine a saga in Saint Seiya style; who doesn't remember each character fighting one of the 12 Gold Cloth characters? But let's go with Hell's Paradise. Gabimaru was saved by Mei, and they find two other characters who are trying to understand the Island. The criminal Tamiya Gantetsusai, a skilled swordsman who wants to be recognized and immortalized in the history books as the most powerful swordsman, and his executioner, the samurai Fuchi. Fuchi is small-looking for a samurai, but he is very skilled, and he has some medical and anatomy knowledge thathe uses to understand a bit about the biology of the weird organisms of the Island.

  The volume has some fighting with two Doshis sent by the Lord Tensen to assess the humans that were there. When they find Mei, they recognize her and want to bring her back to Lord Tensen's castle since she has the same Tao as the rest of the god-like characters. But Gabimarustartst protecting her, er and that motivates him to fight the Doshis, a tough fight since they aren't as strong as Lord Tensen, but they are still very tough.

  But at the end of the volume, they explain their motivations for wanting to do Bochu Jutsu with her, or, i n not-fancy words, the sex training. Then you see the best page of the volume where Gabimaru steps in front of her, saying that they can't treat her like an object,t and he gets pissed off! He finally catches the Tao and starts using it to defeat the monsters.

  The volume also brings an interesting outcome for the Chobei brothers. We thought they were killed by Ju Fa, but in reality, Aza absorbed a bit of the power of the island,d and he got the powers of the Lord Tensen. We see later and make us question about what is left of humanity on him.

  E aqui estamos no volume 4! Para ser sincero, já terminei o volume 5 e estou pronto para pegar o volume 6 na biblioteca. Este quarto volume é mais focado nas lutas, e os criminosos e samurais estão começando a aprender sobre o Tao. Neste volume, vemos uma nova aliança e conhecemos os Doshis, subordinados diretos dos Lordes Tensen. Diferentemente dos gigantes Shoshins, que não falam, esses híbridos humanoides falam e são um tanto nojentos. O homem-árvore Hoko também apresenta todos os Lordes Tensen da ilha e suas associações divinas. Até agora, conhecemos Zhu Jin (Ragnant Yuanjun Tathata), que enfrentou Gabimaru e Tenza/Shion, além de Ju Fa (Heavenly Dadi Aksho) e Tao Fa (Sagacious Dasheng Ratna), que enfrentaram os irmãos Chobei. Também descobrimos que cada um deles tem uma técnica especial de treinamento, incluindo o Bōchū Jutsu, praticado por Ju Fa e Tao Fa, que basicamente aprimora o Tao por meio do sexo, além de elementos como fogo, madeira e outros.

  Neste ponto, podemos imaginar uma saga no estilo de Saint Seiya. Quem não se lembra de cada personagem enfrentando um dos 12 Cavaleiros de Ouro? Mas vamos voltar a Hell's Paradise. Gabimaru foi salvo por Mei, e os dois encontram outros dois personagens que estão tentando entender a ilha. O criminoso Tamiya Gantetsusai é um espadachim habilidoso que quer ser reconhecido e imortalizado nos livros de história como o espadachim mais poderoso. Seu executor é o samurai Fuchi. Fuchi tem uma aparência pequena para um samurai, mas é muito habilidoso e possui conhecimentos de medicina e anatomia que usa para compreender um pouco da biologia dos organismos estranhos da ilha.

  O volume traz algumas lutas contra dois Doshis enviados pelos Lordes Tensen para avaliar os humanos que estavam na ilha. Quando encontram Mei, eles a reconhecem e querem levá-la de volta ao castelo dos Lordes Tensen, pois ela possui o mesmo Tao que os demais seres divinos. Mas Gabimaru começa a protegê-la, e isso o leva a lutar contra os Doshis. É uma luta difícil, pois eles não são tão fortes quanto os Lordes Tensen, mas ainda assim são adversários muito poderosos.

  Mas, no final do volume, eles explicam por que querem praticar o Bōchū Jutsu com ela ou, em palavras menos sofisticadas, fazer o treinamento sexual. Então chegamos à melhor página do volume, quando Gabimaru se coloca na frente dela e diz que eles não podem tratá-la como um objeto. Ele fica furioso! Finalmente, ele compreende o Tao e começa a usá-lo para derrotar os monstros.

  O volume também traz um desfecho interessante para os irmãos Chobei. Pensávamos que eles tinham sido mortos por Ju Fa, mas, na realidade, Aza absorveu parte do poder da ilha e adquiriu os poderes dos Lordes Tensen. Mais adiante, vemos isso e começamos a questionar o quanto ainda resta de humanidade nele.
