Clickbait (2021) – Netflix [ESP/ENG] [Review]

El día de hoy les quiero platicar sobre una miniserie que recién se estrenó en Netflix, realmente no tenía muchas esperanzas en la serie, ya que normalmente estos thrillers de investigación policiaca comienzan muy bien y poco a poco a la historia se diluye entre todos los elementos y giros que le quieren dar, pero Clickbait no es así, realmente me pareció una serie consistente, en su mayoría, con la premisa inicial.

Today I want to tell you about a miniseries that just premiered on Netflix, I really did not have much hope in the series since normally these police investigation thrillers start very well and little by little the story is diluted between all the elements and turns that they want to give, but Clickbait is not like that, it really seemed to me a consistent series, for the most part, with the initial premise.

La historia comienza con una pelea familiar dónde conocemos a Pia Brewer, una joven enfermera rebelde y con una actitud hostil hacía la vida, y su hermano Nick Brewer, un padre de familia con hijos adolescentes. La pelea inicia en la cena de celebración del cumpleaños de su madre, dónde la actitud de Pia provoca la discusión y Nick la obliga a retirarse de la cena, así que Pia decide embriagarse a su manera y se va de fiesta dónde por accidente tira su teléfono al baño y tiene que regresar a casa a dejarlo en algo de arroz esperando recuperarlo.

The story begins with a family fight where we meet Pia Brewer, a rebellious young nurse with a hostile attitude towards life, and hers, her brother Nick Brewer, a father of a family with teenage children. The fight begins at the dinner to celebrate her mother's birthday, where Pia's attitude provokes an argument and Nick forces her to leave the dinner, so Pia decides to get drunk in her own way and goes to a party whereby accident she throws her phone to the bathroom and has to go home to drop it on some rice hoping to get it back.

Es hasta la mañana siguiente en que Pia se entera por medio de un paciente en la clínica dónde trabaja que hay un video en internet qué está por hacerse viral, dónde un pobre tipo aparece con carteles dónde confiesa haber lastimado mujeres y matado a una de ellas y qué si el video llega a 5 millones de reproducciones él será asesinado.

It is until the next morning that Pia finds out through a patient at the clinic where she works that there is a video on the internet that is about to go viral, where a poor guy appears with posters where he confesses to having hurt women and killed one of them and what if the video reaches 5 million views he will be killed.
