Hello Everybody!
Hello Everybody!

Dear steemians and @sndbox members, welcome to my film series. I am talking about films, in this series. I will criticism about films I watced. Actually, it is not exactly criticism. It is more like comment. Because I am not critic. I just talking about films. I say features or scenes what I liked. If I watched another films by the same director, I tell about them.
In fact, I more like old films. Films shooted before 1960. Especially, black and white films. I watched all of films shooted by Alfred Hitcock, Stanley Kubrick, Frank Capra, Gaspar Noe... There is a few director more but ıt doesn't my mind now. Sometimes, I watch new films from lists. So let's talk some about today's film. Today's film is In The Mood For Love.

First of all, the movie is very static. So if you expect an action, do not watch it. The film was shot in 2000. But it's in 1962. There are only a few characters in the movie. Events go between two main characters.
Let's talk about movie theme. The two families are moving to the same apartment in Hong Kong. As time goes on between each other, they begin to form a bond between these two. Interestingly, both suspect that their spouses deceive themselves. That's the movie theme.

Actually, the movie is very artistic. You can understand that from its scenes and its music. Since the film is very static, the same music was used in most scenes. There is a music played with violin. Also, you know, there is "Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps" song. By the way, it is nice song.
This movie came to me like a theater more than film. Some of the stadiums seemed to be very disconnected. Or it came to me. Sometimes it suddenly goes from one scene to another. I don't like this situation. The camera angles were very nice. Some of the scenes were taken from below. There were also many close-ups. You can feel the life of 1962 in the movie. Neighborhood associations, fashion, streets and houses all lead you to 1962. The red color is predominantly used.
So if you want to watch a nice drama movie, I suggest. But as I said, it is very static and similar to theater. If you like movies like this, you will enjoy this movie. Love to all of you dear steemians... See you in next post, take care yourself...
