My friend and I watched Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead last night.
The movie is Dawn of the Dead meets Ocean's Eleven meets Outbreak.
The movie is a long 2 hours and 28 minutes and stars Dave Bautista.
The visuals, the action, and the gore are good but two things haunted me throughout the movie.
The first was the safe cracking. There is NO way a high tech state of the art safe could be cracked by just feel.
The second was why the military didn't just flatten the city using conventional weapons. The stupidest scene was right at the beginning when soldiers were parachuting in.
All in all it was a fun watch but I would not watch it again.
I would rate the movie a C+.
